Not really an item, but after heading down the stairs, go to the hallway on the left of the cages. The first door to the south will contain all your equipment. Head back upstairs after you get your items and you'll run into your first enemy. |

After going through the gate to the west of the room you broke out of, go through the north door. Fight the guards and open the chest that is in the room. |
