Elliott is first met in Gale Canyon with his sister Marienne and another member named Bubba. He is considered the son of Bishop Doplin, who actually took Elliott and Marienne in when they were young mystics.
At the first encounter with Elliott in battle, the player is introduced to his dark Origin. Although Origins are supposed to be the creatures of the planet (to keep the growth of it) you'll find that Elliott's is not quite so nature-like.
