If you went that route then it would be like Final Fantasy XII's summon system. Not original, but still works. Seru are one of the reasons that I want to keep the old system (just update it a little). However, I also want a new 'fighting game' type of battle system. I can never fully decide which I want. But a 'fighting game' system can effectively use Seru. Take some of the Dragonball Z games...using the characters special moves (the powerful ones) are done kinda like a cut-scene and they always hit. Just like a summon in turn-based RPG's. So that could be how Seru work in that kind of battle system. And now i'm rambling again. I'm so torn and conflicted on this subject.

New additions to the list could be added if leading chara in combat has a element
there by doing that type of elemental dmg + next chara would have an additional effect
and the third chara would add and another elemental dmg.
IE: first attack = fire damage
second attack = Water damage +fire damage = steam dmg
third attack = Lightning damage + steam damage = Additional damage

I understand it. If the first person to attack did some fire damage to the enemy, and then the second character did some water damage (so far we have steam damage now), then lastly the third character hit the enemy with some lightning attack (now we got additional damage).

Sounds awesome. But also seems like a disadvantage. Like KH Re:CoM. The card this is annoying as the the the the, but it gave you some advantages.

How would that work with enemies that have certain elemental affiliations? Would they be like immune to the damage stacking or something?

probably would have to depend on the enemy and how well certain stacking would effect them. In other words, a lot of work for the poor programmers, lol.

This actually sounds interesting. Would it be similar to the shiny Pokemon? Like they'd look different and all? Like color wise?

I like this idea. Assuming you meant something like: Water + Fire = Steam, Steam + Ice = Frost, Frost + Fire= Wet/Water, Wet/Water + Lighting = Electrocution, and etc.
Is this what you mean? I find this super cool >__>
