The next morning, when it was time for breakfast, Kyorren was lead to the cafeteria. She quickly located Laurelai, and sat by her just as she had yesterday.

"Is there really anything interesting for a prisoner to do?" asked Kyorren, doubtful of the answer. She kept tapping her fingers on the table, trying to pass the time and suppress her boredom. "Sucks being a prisoner."

"Yeah it does," said Laurelai, sighing. "Your name is Ave, right?"

The quiet girl nodded. "Um...Yes."

"Hi, I'm Laurelai."

"Kyorren. So how long have-" Kyorren began, when she was interrupted by guards entering the cafeteria in groups, telling the ladies to all get our of their seats.

"Alright, ladies, let's go! Move on! You're all headed to the courtyard! Go! What the the the the the are you waiting for?"

Kyorren turned to Laurelai, raising an eyebrow. "I guess there is something interesting going on... C'mon Ave, you can come with us."

The three girls got up and were led out into the courtyard, excited and nervous at the same time. What was happening?

~Noise~
Noise awoke from his peaceful sleep to the sounds of prisoners being forced out to the courtyard. Well, it looks like it's time for my promotion. He stood up from his commandered bed and headed to the gated entrance of his cell. He pushed and pulled to no avail. "Ha, ha, ha, very funny you bastards. Open the door!" Noise shouted from the bars.

Hearing his shouts, a group of guards came over and opened the gate. "We're sorry, sir. We had no idea you were in here, it says empty on the board," the tallest guard said avoiding Noise's gaze while gesturing at the board of prisoners.

"Don't worry about it," He said, figuring that he already had enough problems today. "Just remember to be here to unlock the cage, soldier." Noise clapped the guard on the shoulder and gave him a reasuring smile.

"Sir, yes sir!" He said, glad not to be punished.

Noise left the guards and headed to the courtyard, he saw the pool of prisoners being led to the grassy area infront of the stage Redhollow must've set up before he'd woken up. He walked toward the prisoners and saw two of the girls from yesterday upfront, probaly curious about what's going on, Noise thought.

Noise walked to the middle of the stage and looked out at his audience. In front sat the prisoners surrounded by barbed wire, the guards weren't to worried about them because they knew that if they tried anything they would be delt with slowly but surely. Behind the prisoners all the military and work staff stood awaiting the reason they had to stop their jobs.

Noise jumped off the stage and walked over to the two girls he recognized from yesterday. "So how did you two sleep?" He asked, wearing his charming smile.

Kyorren, Laurelai, and Ave were surprised to hear a familiar voice greeting them. It was the first voice they could focus on in the crowd they were currently in.

"Ugh. Can't even call it sleeping, really," Kyorren growled, rubbing her tired eyes. "My back is hurting and my eyes are burning." Laurelai nodded in agreement.

"Yeah those beds aren't really comfortable."

"I wouldn't even call them beds," Kyorren replied. "Would it kill them to give us...I don't know...hay even?"

"What about you, Noise?" asked Laurelai, stretching her arms. "I bet officers get to sleep comfortably..."

~Noise~
"Oh, actually we have to find our own sleeping conditions." Noise explained.

"Really?" Laurelai asked, obviously surprised.

"Yeah, so I actually sleep in a cell." Noise smiled and laughed, knowing it must sound weird to these two girls.

"That's surpising," Laurelai said. "So you're as uncomfortable as us."

"That's right," Noise said, and before he could stop himself. "But, you know, I bet we could make both our sleeping arrangements more comfortable, if we work together." Noise looked at the blushing girls and winked. "Now, I'm sorry, but I have to go sit on stage and wait for the almighty Warden."

He walked away and took his seat. Closing his eyes to try and fit in a quick nap.

"ARE YOU GONNA ANSWER OR NOT?"

The warden quickly lost patience after waiting 20 minutes and stomped out of the room. He then gets lost in thought as he takes elevator up.

"That annoying bastard, ignoring me. Still I better issue a warning, I might need all my men to be armed; assuming they're coming for me



Opon arriving Red came to a sleeping noise, prisoners talking to each other, and his men 'chatting'

"ATTEND SHUN!"

All of the Cadets imediately form 2 parallel single file line as Red walked down the empty space between them to get to the stage, Red then began speaking into the microphone.

"Attention! I-"

Red looked towards noise, asleep as always. Red simply covered the mic and looked at noise.

"Noise! get up! 25 minutes is long enough!"

Laurelai was blushing as Noise left, but Kyorren simply rolled her eyes.

They were about to get into conversation when the guards ordered them all to crowd up in a certain spot in the yard to look at the stage. "What's going on?" asked Laurelai.

Kyorren shrugged. "It's better than sitting in a cell."

General Redhollow was now on stage, and he was beginning his announcement.

Jareth was singing in his head. He'd forgotten that Red was leading him to his private eating chambers and, frankly, didn't care. When he sat down to eat he decided to start with eating his feeding-gloves (they wouldn't allow him utensils). The gloves always tasted better than the actual 'food' they provided him. "Nummy-wummy glovey-woves. OM NOM NOMS!" Jareth joyfully finished eating his gloves and food...then proceeded to dance with his chair. But the chair was quite a lousy dance partner. So Jareth decided to kill it. He tried screaming it to death but to no avail. Next he tried smashing it with his fists. This worked better but led to a lot of bleeding. He finished it off with some stomping. "High-ho, high-ho, it's off to work I go...work....on one thing and another...they won't like the other, oh noes. Not...one...bit..."

~Noise~
"-Long enough!" Noise was startled by his boss shaking him awake.

"Sir, yes sir!" he shot up and saluted Redhollow, then remembering where he was, in front of a large audience, he sat back down and gave an embarrassed smile. "Sorry sir, continue with the ceremony."

Red gave the new general a look of annoyance.

"Well as I saying, I have great and disappointing new. Your last warden, Kay Sevak the third... is dead"

Red awaited til the crowd settled its shock. After 15 seconds, he intervened.

"QUIET! Well, first off, I'd like you all to meet your new lieutenant. DESIMER!!"

Red pointed towards desimer as he ran up to the stage and gave a small speech. Red then looked at noise. He moved right next to noise and said:

"your next. And be alert; I forgot to mention... we're at level orange-red in the 'attack gauge'. So expect either a riot or an attack from outside. Stay alert, and speak of this to nobody; understood soldier?"

As red finished his sentence, desimer gave his thanks and left the stage.

"That's my cue."

Red walked up and began to talk.

"Now I'm sure your all wondering 'OH, what about noise?!' well... NOISE IS FIRED!"

Red waited five seconds for the crowd to start complaining; then he burst to laughter.

"HA, oh man sorry I had to. Look at your face man!" pointing towards noise "I'm joking. Everyone, meet your new boss and commander, WALLACE 'NOISE'!

Red motioned noise towards the stage; but then somebody yelled:

"HEY, GENERAL! WHAT GONNA HAPPEN TO YOU?!"

Red grew pissed, a vein could be seen pulsing on his forehead.

"SHUT UP, I'LL GET TO THAT! Everybody, meet general noise!"

Red motioned noise to the stage once again.

~Noise~
Noise walked up to the stage, and looked out at his audience. He could see the guards staring up at him with a mix of jealousy and respect, the prisoners with their looks of both fear and hope; probably wondering if he'd be better or worse to them than Redhollow. And of course near the front there were those two cuties from before.

Noise smiled at them and began his speech. "Well.... I'm not really sure what to say here..." Noise looked back to his boss, trying to find some indication on what to say. He gave him nothing. Robert.

"Okay, I'm Noise, your new general. Yada, yada, yada, I'm gonna go take a nap." Noise started heading off stage but Redhollow stepped in front of him.

"Make it a good speech." He said as he gave him a slight push back.

"Fine. Okay, listen up you Mystic scum!" Noise said in his best General Redholllow voice. "From now on there isn't going to be any games, any fun, any play time. Just the the the the!" He looked out at the wide eyed audience, he even noticed some dropped jaws. He waited a second before continuing.

"... Just kidding." Noise said with a wide smile. "Don't worry, I'm still the same Noise, so do your jobs, and you won't hear much of it from me." He started heading off the stage, the side Redhollow wasn't waiting. "That's all folks!"
