Ixis just reminds me of a bug name too. So funny how it bugs you :P

I suppose the good part of choosing Noa would be no in-laws >.> *hears the disapproved groans from others*

I always thought Vahn and Mei belonged together, so I picked that ending. But personally I like Noa better.
