Quick Time Events

like when animation is going on and you have to press buttons to "interact" with it

Not a whole lot of people like it (at least in communities I go to)

Maybe each Seru can learn 2 or 3 different attacks of varying powers (to take some influence from L2)

For instance, let's say you pick Gimard:

1st attack - Default
It shoots a fireball from it's tail. Gets stronger each time it levels up

2nd attack - Unlocked at Level 5
Covers itself in fire and charges at the enemy. Gets stronger each time it levels up

3rd attack - Unlocked at Level 9
The Ra-Seru is summoned instead, wielding a weapon that looks like it was made out of a gimard. It slashes the enemy with the flaming sword a couple times then a big stab that makes an eruption like Gi Delilas's special

idk something like that maybe?

Well it really depends on what system was chosen, but it could work without much problems

If we're going with the KH style (real time, everything on screen), then you could hold a button (let's say L2) and scroll down a list of Seru to summon, OR it could map them to buttons (like bring up shortcuts. So if you hold L2 and then press square, you'll summon a gimard)

Maybe there could be a meter at the bottom of the screen. You hold the summon button as long as you want/can, and it keeps raising until it reaches a certain point in which it activates the second ability, or the third

Of course, there should be a lock-on system to prevent constant misses

works for me seems awesome but since i doubt all the characters would have ra ser we woud need a system for them too

Well it all depends on what's available in the story of the game. Like, can ordinary (or certain) people use magic of some sort (this might be too much messing with Legaia). Maybe the character(s) use special items like Rikku from FFX, or are master Biron martial artists and can learn arts that others can't

Well, yes, everyone can use it later, but it is known as "her" special ability.

But that's the basic thing I mean. Everyone who doesn't have a Ra-Seru could possibly use something along those lines as an alternative
