The Lippians, they taunt me!
After 14 years of playing this game, I just now noticed for the first time that the lippian enemies throw up their heads and cackle when they defeat one of your party~!
Cue immediately killing off Gala to see it again with the sound on... >>;;

There are other enemies that do. Off the top of my head I can only think of Slippery - it curls in a ball and spins forward once as its taunt.

I never really die to random encounters, so I'm completely unaware of this. I guess one learns something new every day.

I had a nightmare once where lippians were parasites, and once you'd been infected green tendrils snaked through your insides like veins before taking root. I couldn't get back to sleep for three hours. |D
So far, the only other enemy that does anything is the Nighto. It flares its' shell and I'm not sure but I think I heard it snicker.
Gimard, Theeder, Vera, Viguro, Gizam, worms, pumpkins, mantises, ostriches, frogs, slime, piuras, flies, gobu's, and mushrooms don't do anything.
That's as far as I've gotten so far, since I have to start from scratch.
A whole lot of love went into this game. O.o

I have to admit that I have seen the Nighto taunt a couple of times. I never really thought about it before but now that you mention it I remember it.
