Who is your favorite NPC?

By NPC I am specifically referring to a random sprite character in a town. I don't mean a side character who is named like Ixis, May, Cara etc. Some of the random NPC characters are pretty hilarious...

My favorite would have to be the big, burly guy with the beard who owns the slot machine in Vidna. That crazy nutjob actually took the time to carry a gigantic slot machine from the hot spring resort to Danpas's underground shelter during the Mist invasion.

He could take out the Biron monks by himself probably

To be fair, the guy who carried his bed down there to sell 'inn' visits was pretty awesome in the same right. Don't mess with the shopkeepers, or you'll pay the ultimate price!!!

Yeah, but that jerk charged you to sleep in his beds as well as for tours where he didn't even escort you anywhere. At least the slot guy gave you free tokens the first time.

Anyway, and this is off topic somewhat, but I know who my least favorite NPC character is - the guy on the 7th floor of Sol Tower who says words to the effect of 'Oh, why didn't those monks tell me they had a Genesis Tree!'

I guess my least favorite would be the guy in front of the Muscle Dome who calls you a coward if you say you won't enter the tournament yet calls you stupid if you say you will. It's like, why are you even here?

I don't know, but he just sticks out as being particularly annoying. Mostly because that false bravado and gloating just really irritates me.
