Lol no, not even close. I have about 10 hours a week of free-time for my own wants. And I run a website too with all my gaming UIs and tools and receive a bunch of requests for different games every week (Legaia's not my only =( ) I can never get around to finishing those either as they're 80% done. Got a laundry list...ugh.K73SK wrote:Your preoccupation is a game. Mine is a game, a website, and other life stuffs. YOU HAZ TIME!
Maybe once I get my pilot's license and scuba season is over will time free up. But I'm sure that'll just get soaked up by something else.

You'd essentially just have to rip them out and then listen to them one by one like I did since they won't have sensible file names.Redhollowlives999 wrote:Well, I didn't think to look for songs that don't exist in the gameplay, lol.
Sound effects are more cumbersome to go through but I don't even remember if I knew what was unused. Everything sounds slightly foreign when there's only one channel playing a single sound : /

touche. I'm hoping that once this website's makeover and stuff is done, I can get a ton of free time to do something else, as well. Would be nice to have another developer helping out lol.meth962 wrote:Lol no, not even close. I have about 10 hours a week of free-time for my own wants. Re: Hacking Audio Files
At the very least, is it possible to replace the sound files?
Like, say, take the uncut victory quotes from the Japanese version and put them in the English version.
I doubt there would be an easy way to fix the lip flaps, but it would still be neat.

Re: Hacking Audio Files
Yeah, replacing audio is a pretty common 'hack' or mod for PSX era games. I've not done it but I think if you convert a song to the XA audio format and fix the track length it should be possible. Hopefully without any assembly code editing but I can't remember if that was necessary or not.
