You're not alone. It took me til like last summer to finally beat the game. :P

I'm tryna steer clear of favoritism, but I DID like how useless/meaningless Dohati was/felt. Really, I don't even remember seeing him til I actually fight him. I find that hilarious.

Some other moments worth mentioning:

- How useless Jette felt (this is mostly due to Gala saying "we wasted time on this punk" after the fight).
- Gaza scenes. Liked fighting him and learnin' about him from all the thirsty grannies at the cafe.
- The split at N.R. Struggled a bit there the first time.
- The first part where you get Meta and he doesn't really give you a choice on whether or not you can save the town (I barely remember if this was actually a thing but I think it was and I love it).
- Scene when Songi was being a butthead after you beat Cort and he summons Juggernaut on the town and Tetsu, being the G he is, does some dope martial art before Songi pimp smacks him fer disrespecting daddy.

Those are just a few.
it really do be like that tho

The line after Jette is "We wasted much time", and yes, it is my favorite line in the game, right up there with Terra saying "...after all, Noa, you do eat a lot."
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.

My favorite line in the game would have to be when Meta says, "I've been waiting for someone like you".

Not Vahn in particular, but someone like him... like Meta will accept any kid who touches a tree.

I love this game so much. There are tons of memorable scenes, all great for different reasons. A lot of it is just the mood and feel of the different areas. The music is very effective at being emotional and touching and the graphics are simple enough to seem fantastical while realistic enough to be effective.

Heres some you guys haven't mentioned yet:

The caverns with Noa and Terra. While sweet and touching, it is very mysterious and surreal for the first time. It raises many questions about these characters and the world they are hiding from.

The village with Van Saryu. This is definitely one of the most emotional parts of the game and probably has the strongest sense of personal investment in the story. The saga with the "brides of Juggernaut" is absolutely nightmarish, but fascinating. When Noa is captured and the guys set out to rescue her, it is really powerful. The music for this part is brilliant and really helps to set the mood for this dire rescue.

Underground with Hari. The little society underground I thought was pretty interesting. Xain really seemed intimidating here.

The floating castle. Seeing that thing flying around spreading mist from the overworld was definitely interesting. Such an ominous and mysterious object. I feel inside that it didn't quite live up to the hype, but it was still a really memorable event. I remember walking in for the first time, having no idea what sort of alien malevolence would reside in such an unnatural place.

The Uru Mais. This place was just awesome. It filled me with a sense of awe and wonder. Although a little sad, Juggernaut blowing it up was also awesome.
Legend of Legaia, a pinnacle of human achievement, will always have a place in my heart
