Re: Fite Games
I used Pikachu in all the Smash games before this. Now he just seems to suck. He is a bit faster, but did he really need a speed boost?
They also butchered Pit's moves, who I often used in Brawl. At least I don't see a ton of people hacking online anymore.

Re: Fite Games
I still remember when Pikachu was basically a god of the series. It's Thunder used to be an instant KO, and aside from the fact that it's short enough to dodge plenty of attacks, but it's also quick enough to avoid'em.
If I could buy SSM, I would pwn everyone with Pikachu. But I don't play enough so it keeps me from being epic. That's okay though because I study the combos anyways and I'm usually ready to KO anyone multiples times in the face.

it really do be like that tho

Nnnnope. 'specially since extra speed/lack of control's potentially a death sentence on most'a the game's stages.GoldenPower89 wrote:I used Pikachu in all the Smash games before this. Now he just seems to suck. He is a bit faster, but did he really need a speed boost?
Pikachu's always been pretty high up, although I think after Melee and Brawl, he's always been bumped down from dudes like Falco, Marth, Diddy, Meta Knight, etc.Redhollowlives999 wrote:I still remember when Pikachu was basically a god of the series. Raichu's better though.
Captain Falcon and Fox >>>>If I could buy SSM, I would pwn everyone with Pikachu.
Although I only ever got to touch Melee once back in like 5th grade.

Lol. I still play Melee every now and then. It's the best of the series.

Tell that to Sonic at max. custom speed.Zup wrote:Nnnnope. 'specially since extra speed/lack of control's potentially a death sentence on most'a the game's stages.
I think it might've been the variety of characters kinda made'em seem less potent. Broswer and Charizard are practically the same gameplay wise.Pikachu's always been pretty high up, although I think after Melee and Brawl, he's always been bumped down from dudes like Falco, Marth, Diddy, Meta Knight, etc.
TAKE THAT BACK YOU... NOT... WET PERSON!Raichu's better though.
Captain Falcon, maybe. Fox is debatable. But not unlikely. In a fight, I mean. Both are great characters.Captain Falcon and Fox >>>>
If I touched it anywhere, then it was probably at my old local library twice a week (they had a game-time thing), or at my godsiblings' house.Although I only ever got to touch Melee once back in like 5th grade.
Eh, final smashes always felt lackluster. I always enjoyed the regular fighting (though I try to get the FS first cuz I don't wanna share). What're y'alls' favorite Final Smashes
Pikachu's probably has the worst FS ever (especially in this title). >__> Hard to steer, easy to dodge, does little to no damage, feels like it gets worse as time goes by, it's lame. It was OP back in the golden ages, so I'm guessing it was severely powered down this time around.
it really do be like that tho
