I will give you a link that tells you how to get past Conkram. A friend of mine played this game and got stuck like every other PS3 user. However, he eventually got past it. Here's the link to figure out how.

Well it's a random luck solution Also, my luck was not that great. I visited a friend who lives a state over from me, and we got stuck at that part. We retried it 30 times and only once got reaaally close. Just like the GameFAQs post says, the cutscene slowed down greatly and spouted an error in the corner of the screen. I think it was counting up. When the scene faded out to black it continued to count the error but nothing ever happened We had to give up and finish the game when he came to visit me months later. We almost beat it in one extended weekend but found out we wouldn't have made it with the time we had left. It was 3AM and I was going to go back home at 1pm but it took us an extra 15 hours to beat it haha.

But it's possible is the point. It just may take a few hours... or days

Meth, if you are to use the debugger to follow the assembly, you may be able to find that part of the game that MAY cause it to crash on the PS3 and (assuming you can play back up games) upload an ISO with the fix after modifying the assembly to make it work.

Hrm, I've thought about it before but that would really be up to pSX if it can tell me the line that blew up and actually allow me to breakpoint it. Otherwise no way; do you know how many lines of assembly get executed in one frame of the Playstation? Insanity

Also, it would have to be a fix I can do by editing lines, not adding or deleting. Otherwise all of the jumpTo lines will be off and that would crash the game hard.

Not sure when I'll be home to try it but cross your fingers!

I'm sure there are thousands and thousands of lines, but surely it's a lot less when a cinematic is going on such as the mirror scene, considering it's not doing continuous checks on character input, no?
