Part 1: The Beginning

Olivi pulls the note out of her bag. "Again, I'm not sure what a great wizard would ask in return for his services, but one of the bandits near the town a few miles away dropped this note after he attacked and was defeated by the two of us. And while I understand that you prefer to live the hermetic life, I sincerely believe that innocent lives in town may be saved based on the information in this document that neither of us can read. I'm not sure what either of us can do for someone who commands such great power that he cannot do himself, but if there is something we can do on your behalf to earn your aid, please let me know."

He looks at the note and says, "Ah! This note is simply bounded by the power of another elder sorcerer. We all have the capability of sealing notes once past the age of 150. Now, let's see... It appears that the seal says the name, "Saxendell". This is an elder that has long passed, so the bandits must have found it after ransacking his home in the far north. Disenchanting something from another elder sorcerer can be tedious and take me a long time. If you're willing to leave this note with me, I may be able to disenchant it in a few days to a week. But to do so, I'd like to ask for something in return first... In Yurinsell, there's another elder there. A cleric, actually. I've been working on some things with her for awhile now and need to send her some news. If you go to Yurinsell, find the elder named Ancella, tell her "The Wizard says 'haroo lasentan paru'". You might want to write that down. Upon your return at that point, I should have this note disenchanted with whatever secrets are hidden within it. Does that sound fair?"

"Uh, I guess I'm ok with going to Yurinsell. I've been meaning to check out that place anyway."

[Nightshade]

"I'm glad that we are both in agreement."

Olivi takes out something to write with and jots down to mention to a Cleric named Ancella about "'haroo lasentan paru'". Though she's certainly curious what it means, she figures that it has something to do with a spell of sorts, and that it's not her business otherwise.

"I believe that we were headed toward there anyway; it may take us some time to travel there and back, but we accept your conditions."

Olivi thanks the Wizard for his time and requests his leave. The party heads back to the south, toward [21, M]

"Upward and onward!" They continue to [24, Q], as though they were still fully refreshed, despite having been on the road for quite some time.

A large green slime walks by the party and stands in front of them. It doesn't seem to attack and has no obvious face on it. It's just sitting there, as if it's staring right at them.

"That thing is pretty disturbing. Want to head on to town and ignore Jiggles the not-so-Jolly Green Giant Slime?"
