How has this site and forums changed your life?

How has this site and forums changed your life?

Post by K73SK » Fri Jul 04, 2014 11:57 pm

Ok, so consider all the times you would play Legend of Legaia before this site existed... Some of you may have used a strategy guide or perhaps the "famous" Legaia Shrine website... Or even the GameFAQ forums (whether you still do or not). How has this site changed your knowledge of Legend of Legaia, considering all the contributions members have put into defining things about the game (especially meth962 lol)?

I tend to think of "What if this didn't happen..." scenarios all the time. In this case, I'm thinking of "What if I hadn't made this fan site after all?" I wouldn't have known any of you (or maybe a few if I decided to stay on the GameFAQ site) and... well, things would have obviously been different.

Though my Legaia knowledge is vast, there are several things I would have never figured out without the help of the site's members, such as the Spirit Fish or getting Evil Seru Magic early.

Overall, this is a nice place to be and I plan to stay a while. I get along with most of you and tolerate others (I won't name names  ), but that happens pretty much anywhere. At least this place is more active than the Legend of Legaia board on Gamefaqs.

Well, can I say that I appreciate your creating this site without coming off as brown-nosing?

But I think the real question from here is to find more people; I think with a few more active people, we could get something going. But I don't have a clue how to advertise from here...

Yeahhhhhhhhh I agree. I guess the site had more of an impact on me than others, but then again I don't know so that's why I made the thread lol

I basically wanted to type what Zup said but because he made it so vulgar (and 1 Ram isnt here to do it and 2 I don't feel like topping it), I guess I have to handle the indepth stuff:

This site change me completely. I was a twerp four(?) years ago, without a doubt incredibly annoying (and here I wondered why I was bullied as a child). I don't even know how I survived my own idiotic obnoxious aura before I found this site (and I don't know how you all tolerated it considering I was always on). I started writing on this site, I started getting better at art on this site (sort of), I made some of my, honestly, closest friends here, I also discovered SNSD thanks to here (<3333), and I sorta sync'd with all of you (sync is a term I use for when I learn from people; see I'm a philomath and I like to sorta copy whoever I meet's abilities and develop them and use them as my own). I've develop slowly as an idiot person and I honestly fear the worst if this site hadn't been created.

Here Lone taught me to think more creatively (as well as being more open minded), I think my apathy grew a bit more because of DV, I learned when enough is enough from K7 (who I annoyed no end since forever), Night at one point madero want to write better (when he had that fanfic), Sise just straight up made me study Legaia left and right because I felt intimidated by his superior knowledge of Legaia, heck, even JC taught me a lil somethin' (I won't give him the satisfaction of telling him what though).

This site has taught me about Legaia, but since I was never a gamer to begin with, I have no clue how to use what I've learned. :/

There. Is that what you were lookin for chief? Also don't worry; I too ponder life without this site. *cringes*
it really do be like that tho

Didn't see my name in there, but I'm glad the site made you a socially acceptable person.

Well, I do have the Legaia Parody, which I should update again soon. Less Epic Fantasy, more light comedy, but it's still writing. Just with a different sort of audience.
