Re: General Discussion
Getting into locations that others can't? So, I suck at combat, but maybe I could pickpocket NPCs or open locks?

Re: General Discussion
Rogues could have a steal command or steal as well augmented with a regular attack or even an ability.
Success rate = N*((C1*(C2*Speed + C3*Chance))/100))
Where C1, C2, C3 are some coefficients.
And N is a dependent on user level.

Re: General Discussion
Yes, stealing could definitely be something that we could let rogues be good at.

Re: General Discussion
I think you forgot to give me EXP from that last fight. I had 158 after the bandit fight since that's what got me to level 3, and If I got 13 from the last fight, that should put me from 158 to 171 EXP.
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.
Re: General Discussion
Yes, you're correct. Sorry about that and thanks for catching it.

Re: General Discussion
Question: When you say that the cutoff for a day is measured by "CST", do you actually mean Central Standard Time, or do you just mean Central Time, which right now is Central Daylight time, one hour ahead of the former?
By reference, it's 11:04 PM CST right now as I post this, but 12:04 Central Daylight Time.
Which one do you actually mean?

Re: General Discussion
CDT and CST are according to seasons here. Right now, it's CDT but during the winter it's CST (daylight savings time makes it CDT). So, to clarify it, I'll put CST/CDT in the rules if that helps. It's just like other time zones, like MST/MDT, EST/EDT, etc.

Re: General Discussion
By the way, another rules question: Are we allowed to delay our attacks in a given combat round? That is, suppose the combat order is:
Player 1, Player 2, Enemy 1, Enemy 2, Enemy 3
Player 2 can kill Enemy 2 in one turn, but only on a successful hit. If Player 1 knew that Player 2 missed, he would like to finish off Enemy 2, but if Enemy 2 does go down to Player 2's attack, Player 1 would like to attack Enemy 1 instead.
Can Player 1 choose to postpone his / her turn until after Player 2? It's something that shows up a lot in tabletop and strategy RPG's.

Re: General Discussion
I've never seen that, but I like the idea... so sure, why not

Re: General Discussion
How does "disease" work? Will the player continue to take damage after battle?
