"I hear you need help getting some gold you dropped. Could you tell me more about what happened?"

Van crawls out of his poor makeshift tent. His sluggish face alone tells the story of a long period asleep. He tries to recall the events that brought him to his moment. He reaches to the deepest corners of his pockets, counts outs 13 G, gives a large sigh. He then takes his time to stretch out his body habitually after sleeping for so long. Van rubs his eyes and blinks a few more times before finally deciding to head west. [16,P]

The rain, slowing down from earlier, continues to fall onto Van as he walks. Then suddenly, a Large Slug comes out from the ground in front of him. Being the slow creature it is, Van has the advantage in the battle.

"Huh? How did you know I was Derron? I don't recall ever seeing you.... But yes, it's good to see someone interested in helping me. I was just heading towards the cave to explore it when suddenly a bunch of imps came out of on where and started attacking me. I had killed one, but it revived right in front of me. I killed another one nearby and it was revived immediately as well. Unfortunately, my bag of G was attacked to the side of my belt and one of the imps cut it right off when trying to cut me open. I guess that's more luck than unfortunate, right? Anyway, not wanting to die, I ran without thinking about the G. Usually there's a Imp Shaman in the premises when they revive, so that might be your target if you head out there. You have no luck killing imps if they can continue to be revived! I'd be careful if I were you, they're no walk in the park! There were at least 3 of them!"

The damp ground around the town still interests the Large Slugs as one approaches up to G-Pow. Unfortunately for the Large Slug, it's so slow that G-Pow has the advantage of speed.
