Those aren't reasons mjz, those are just images and other things to support your support for the ps3 rather than claims as to why.

Here's what I see between the two consoles, pro's and cons:

Pro's for the 360:
* A much more variety of things to do.
* A chance for indie video game developers to get their names out, along with actually making money off their work.
* The "father" of mature games (in other words, most of the adult based games that come out are either exclusive or at least planned first for the xbox 360)
* Kinect, although most of the cool things about it are hacks for it
* For those who love multiplayer, this is the multiplayer console
* Even though people mention the fact you have to pay for online membership, 95% of the community forgets that you can still get online and do a lot with it even with a silver (free) membership. It depends on the video game company who makes the game as to whether "gold" is necessary for online multiplayer.
* Will soon work as a cable box for people who want cable
* Tesselation

Con's for the 360:
* Paid internet, although in a way the features for the pay make up for it
* Early consoles did have bad rrod problems, but the new ones have definitely made up for that.
* No internet browser like on ps3
* Has yet to come out with a really awesome game for kinect (not including rise of nightmares and fruit ninja)
* Copied avatar idea from wii mii's

Pro's for PS3:
* Free internet, period.
* Much better RPG games
* Blu-Ray
* Started with wi-fi already while M$ didn't (although they do now)
* Linux based

Con's for PS3:
* Copied Wii's controller motion movement (You can say 360 did too, but in reality it didn't completely copy it considering it follows the WHOLE body instead of a motion device)
* Copied 360's achievements using trophies
* YLOD (360 may have been bad with rrod, but most people neglect the problems ps3 had with this as well)
* Having to worry about Sony suing people who simply modify the console
* No custom music while playing video games
* Can't keep most of its exclusives to itself. It seems like a lot of PS3 developers like money too much and as soon as Microsoft throws some money at them for games to also be on the 360, they do it. Every console needs to keep exclusives to itself without other consoles or companies tempting them to try multi-consoles. Wii = smash bro's, mario, etc. 360 = Gears of War, Halo, etc. PS3 = uncharted and resistance... ok.
* Performance is not as great as many claim it to be. It looks better, but in reality it's mostly equivalent or worse in some cases. Seen comparisons with games like Oblivion?
* No tesselation

More people (my age at least) have one

360 Bad Stuffs:
360 is a dumb shortening of the name
13-year-olds are all over XBL
You have to pay for XBL (and to listen to those brats on mics)
Controller's kinda big (still sturdy...but big)
Hardly any real exclusives
Kinect is a piece of s***
RROD
Ugly game cases (the big green and white and purple)
Nonexistent Japanese support

Saying that it belongs to one console is bs. All consoles + PC have these running around no matter what game it is. Like 360 gets the fame for this because of Halo. But I've heard just as many annoying kids on the ps3 and pc as I've heard on the 360. I can't say much of the Wii since I haven't played it online - but considering it's a family console, I don't have my doubts much.

When I do, its when my brother's playing CoD, and they're usually all adults drinking beer and playing in their living room. I'm 15. PS3 is popular among teens....my fellow minorities anyway Seriously though, the only teens that I know that have PS3 are most of my cousins and some of their other brown/black friends ^_^ All my white friends have a 360

I didn't realize the ps3 had any cases. My mistake. The Kinect itself is really awesome in my opinion, but the game selection is poor - so I have yet to go and get one. I'm awaiting for some really awesome ones first.

I thought Kinect was a brilliant idea and I'm glad it works...but yes, I consider it s*** because there are no games, which are, believe it or not, important :mrgreen:
