If I remember correctly, there are 4-5 bees right? The queen, then a few of her henchmen. If you calculate the numbers, then the chances of you beating them before defeating Xain are slim. Not to mention, the EXP they give isn't worth bragging about either (at least, depending on how early in the game you are).

The best way to use the Bees are to simply use them for their honey, I believe there's a money trick that involves selling the honey over and over and over.
it really do be like that tho

There are three Killer Bees, and one Queen Bee. Also, they give no exp.

Only battle in the entire game with more than 4 enemies, I believe.

Well if they give no EXP then that makes them even less worthy of the effort.

I thought you can't fight the bees anymore once you sell the honey, so how is there a money trick?

Personally, I've never gotten this money trick to work. You may need GameShark. I've tried selling the honey, but I couldn't fight the bees again. You CAN fight the bees multiple times if you give the honey to your thieving sister, Nene, but you can't have more than one honey at the same tim3. She says she'll make you a cake with the honey, but the ***** never does...

How do you fight them again after Nene takes the honey from you? She took my honey the first time i played the game and I couldn't get another fight with the bees to trigger. I haven't tried since then though. I just use the honey immediately, lol

I'm able to refight the bees after I give Nene the honey. I'm not sure what you're doing different.

Maybe your game glitched? You're going back to the tree right?

It's the only battle in the game against 4 enemies; in fact, the way the game is coded, there's no memory storage for a 5th+ enemy on the battlefield at one time. It is possible to fight against 4 enemies in a random battle if a Slime enemy (Green Slime, Oak Slime, or Acid Slime) uses Divide on itself, but once there has been a total of 4 enemies in the battle, they won't be able to divide any longer for the duration of the fight.
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.
