Yeah, Lapis sucked, Berserker is easy with Nighto.

I only used that Nighto trick by accident, and when I was helping Kaz. Before then, yes Berserker wiped the floor with me. Lol.

Nighto (and the other Insta-Death Seru) seems pretty useless after that point. They don't really effect, much less, kill anything.

I remember the first boss actually being kind of hard.

Eh, I had a small issue with Carubaun (that's it's name iirc). Mostly cuz I didn't have enough items (couldn't use items at all because of my disc's conditions).

Zeto gave me the most trouble as a child. And it just hit me that he was only the second boss of the game. (I'm not counting the Viguros)

The two lackeys Songi sends you when you encounter him near East Voz Forest's Genesis Tree. They're actually probably the most difficult boss in Drake Kingdom since if the two gang up on a party member, said party member isn't likely to survive. And they are nearly as difficult as the Viguro L2's that you'll encounter some 10 levels later, only that time as a random battle.

Only real trouble starters were: Songi (vs Gala), Zeto, Berserker, Xain, not sure if I should put Gaza (he was more epic than troublesome), Cort 1, and Lapis. I beat the rest with ease.


They weren't that hard Night. The most challenging part was trying to obtain them early and not accidentally. lol.

Actually, a simple Nighto spell makes them automatically run away.

I found Zeto pretty easy, even at level 7. Berserker isn't hard as long as you Nighto him to death. Xain is troublesome, Che Delilas can be a pain in the backside, and Songi 3 has really high attack power.

Cort 2 has some mean tricks, but that's permissible, since it is the final boss.

Did Songi 1 ever give anyone a big issue or was it me? I think Kaz mentioned dying against him a few times because Gala was barely at level 5 when they fought.

Leveling up is pretty annoying in this game- doesn't help that they made it so easy in Legaia 2.

Lapis is really the only permissible boss, in my opinion. Definitely fits the title of super boss (it doesn't even do combos or any special life crushing technique and it can still destroy one of you members).
