Aight so this topic is kinda dumb now because I have completely overhauled how I "review" games.

So yeah.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Gameplay: 97/100 You can do whatever you want in the game. Plus, you can swim. First GTA game where you can swim.

Storyline: 94/100 Just a great storyline, one of the best.

Characters: 93/100 What can I say? Carl Johnson is pretty 野菜 badass.

Entertainment: 97/100 Soo much to do. It actually gets to the point where there's too much entertainment.

Sound: 87/100 The cars made the same sounds over and over...

378/400? I'm bad at math.
Names are for friends, so I don't need one.

FULL REVIEW:

THINGS I LIKED

First i would like to say the world is beautifully built and is quite a sight to explore most of it, aside from a few places that look like total %^$# honest no idea what they where thinking on those two regions but whatever. They also did a fine job with the character design and the selection/direction of the voice actors, and the sound crew did a good job with everything else. Additionally the general user interface was decent if not a little overly complicated for how little they had in it but decent non the less.

Now on to the games story, the story was fun to play through although it was not really connected to the first guild wars in any great detail just a few hints here and there, which means to me that they just wanted to use the fan-base from the first guild wars to try and sell this game better. Aside from enjoying the story and the beauty of the world however, there was unfortunately not that much enjoyment outside of that, especially after the dungeon updates.

PROBLEMS WITH THE GAME

The games imbalances really catch up to you, and because of the very limited paths you can take with your characters the game gets old by time you reach lvl 50. Reaching lvl 50 an be obtained by about a month of play if you play frequently, so if you think about it that is not very long. The main problems with the game are definitely the horrible skill system, skills are bound to equipment which in itself is not bad but certain types of equipment have certain skills period. In the end your options for what active skills you can have is very limited, Also you can only have 5 equipment skills making battles very uninteresting, even with the "boons" passive buffs that you select as your level up skills it makes the skill system very boring.

The crafting system is utterly useless for your first character as well because there is no way you can get your crafting skill to keep up with your level, as a free player at least and that in my opinion makes the crafting system almost entirely useless especially considering you can not make any money at it. Speaking of the crafting system being useless the end of game content seems to revolve mostly around crafting items that will take you about 6-8 months of grinding to make, on top of which they are mostly cosmetic and are hardly any better than the gear you can get in the game through normal playing.

On top of all those issues that came stock the updates they issued to the game made the game even more intolerable, because they made already hard dungeons that you needed to run for the end of game gear even harder. The dungeons where made so hard that people stopped running them and inevitably quit the game, this killed the game considerably seeing the game was built entirely on the premise that the world needs to remain active or it cannot function. If there are not enough people in the world the "world events", in other worlds non-story so called "random events" cannot activate properly or in some cases cannot be completed at all. Additionally as i said there was a problem with people cheating in pvp or server verse server as it was called and they never did fix that.
