Weren't the mini bosses the player encounters in the tower (Beserker lvl 2, etc) also Rogue?

IIRC they were in crystals when the player first encounter them, just like the Rogue fought after.

@K7: That's a reasonable point, but it still seems like the head Rogue is really portrayed as a Satan analogue, and the other Rogue's are something akin to demons and other fallen angels.

@Red: That's correct, and another reasonable point. They do appear as the Rogue-like Crystals, and then morph into the Berserkers/Caruban that you end up fighting them as.
