Ehhhhhh. I guess they should.

But it'd take years and years and it would never please any of you FFVII fans. Might enjoy seeing it happen and like it for awhile, but you're likely not gonna love it or anything.

I think somebody said a lil some'n some'n bout them not wanting to remake it until they "surpassed" it or something.

Which they already did. X.

Do you guys consider Castlevania Symphony of the Night an RPG? It meets all of the requirements, but most people consider it an action game. Ive been replaying it lately and it is amazing.
Legend of Legaia, a pinnacle of human achievement, will always have a place in my heart

No, but that might be more because I was a little young goober when the console JRPG storm was drownin everybody so that affected what I would consider an RPG.

Always just used the generic Metroidvania title.

It is awesome tho.

I remember they said during development to make Lightning as a female Cloud. I don't remember ever reading that Paine was a female Squall, she was always just Lulu's place holder for me, never made the connection with her and Squall.

They just re-release FFVII for PC, literally anyone with a decent PC can play it. I also don't see why they need to remake it.

Wuzza prollem, homeboy? XII was smooth and fluid and pretty to look at.

Now, I didn't really enjoy most of the characters and story, but the combat was fun.

And gameplay's more important than characters and story anyway.

I also liked FFXII for the gameplay. Despite people saying the game played itself, the player's input and gambit set up makes a huge difference. I thought it was almost as good as FFX-2's battle system.

As far as the story and characters go, I didn't like it. It was too political and all the characters are so depressing. Even Balthier, who's supposed to be cool and fun, has a majorly depressing background and story. And half the people you grow to like die.

One thing I didn't like about FFXII was all the characters pretty much played the same sans quickenings.

Agreed with CloakedD that it felt too political and the characters were a bit depressing. None of the characters really stood out.
