I really am hoping that Man of Steel breaks the usual plot scheme because my dad is just like me t is really looking forward to this movie.

Edit:

1. Looks like Mary Jane won't be TAS2, but reserved for 3 and 4. Awesome. More Emma Stone screen time. Peter is one lucky kid.

2. Actually ended up seeing Man of Steel on Friday. Spoiler/thoughts in point 3.

3. I was disappointed. Scenes moved way fast some times, hardly any character development; felt like none of the characters meshed well, they were just there at the same time. Supes barely said anything. Oh gosh I have more to say, but I want to be brief. So: Good action scenes. Amy Adams/Lois Lane was done well. No Kryptonite was a good call. Faora was great. Pa Kent's death was unnecessary.

I just got back from watching it...

I thought it was amazing

Meh.

I agree that it felt rushed in some places, particularly when Clark finds the ship and speaks with his daddy's ghost. Like, just right there dude is all for becoming Superman and whatnot. That went a little too quickly for me. But other than that, I pretty much loved everything. Looked gorgeous the entire time, I'm always up for Amy Adams, thought Cavill was a great Superman (looked fitting, didn't annoy me at all, I was rootin for him the whole time, etc). The fights were awesome and well done (Faora whoopin booty like crazy ) and I want more. the the the the, I'd rank it up there as one of my favorite superhero movies.

Incredible how Lois was able to move just as quickly as Supes, whenever they changed locations. They wasn't as much Supes/Lane interaction as I would like. Saves her like three times, instantly the bond.
