To be complete:Prayrius wrote:after undergrund octam is frozen over.
Freed L1: Fire Path post-Xain (Ice room only), Dohati's Castle
Freed L2: Uru Mais (post Juggernaut), Nivora Ravine. They may be in Buma, but I do not recall
Freed L3: Juggernaut (Bio Castle).
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.

Oof. Definitely remember them being in Usha, I wasn't sure about Buma because I usually skip the cutscene and go straight to the URC. So I don't really recall what enemies are there.

Re: Your favorite Seru
Took me two tries, but I finally figured out what you guys are talking about.
What I meant was I could not find Freed in the full game at Rim Elm, obviously he was only in that particular location in the demo. I found in eventually at the places you guys listed. Sorry about the confusion; it's now clear I need better communication skills.

Re: Your favorite Seru
I'd say my favorite Seru is Swordie. I like the design, and he seems to level up faster than any other Seru.

Re: Your favorite Seru
Hands down my favorite Seru is definitely Kemaro. I tend to get nervous every time I go to take on the two present in Ratayu before rescuing Noa, probably because they're pretty tough the first time you take them on IMO. :V However Kemaro has helped me win so many battles over the years that I always make sure to get it while in Ratayu, and if this doesn't happen I simply reset the console.

Re: Your favorite Seru
A good strategy for beating them at low levels (i.e. level 14-16) is to have Vahn use Fire Blow every turn while Gala uses Orb; their power isn't quite enough to KO a party member in one round even if they both dogpile (it's a pun, get it?) on the same character, so as long as you fully heal each turn, you should be fine. That's how I beat them in my speedrun of the game, anyway.
And Swordie does level up faster because the attack is 4 hits. I am uncertain as to the exact mechanics of Seru leveling, but the number of hits done and KO's caused does play a role.
