Well, it could've been placed there for gameplay purposes. Maybe they wanted a cool, dark Ra-Seru for the players to summon, should they find it

Why not though? I'll be sure to ask this question for definitive proof, but I always thought there's more to say that Jedo was Songi's Ra-Seru vs not.

I mean Jedo has that portal traveling thing going on in his summon just like Songi was doing in his cutscenes, plus it's of the Dark element just like Songi is in battle. And since we never see more than one Ra-Seru representing the same element for the others it makes more sense to me that they'd choose to show a representation of Songi's Dark element Ra-Seru in summoned form versus a random one that has no involvement with the story. Plus there's the description of the Dark Stone tying it to Songi. Just my opinion.

Not all of them, I'm doing some searching through the gamefaqs board because I remember people having questions that people were debating over regarding plot points in the story. Like whether or not Cort was being controlled by his Seru, how Cort came into contact with Rogue, what caused the war between Conkram and Sol, etc.
