Re: Knight's Game ideas
I'm still interested in the element thing
Let's see if I at least understand it/can add something or w/e
Let's say there's a battle between Vahn, Noa, and Gala (but give Noa water for the sake of the example) and...idk a Gobu Gobu
Alright, so from what I read, it's all about how elements affect one another
Now I'll just use knight's examples
Because the Gobu Gobu was already hit with the "burn" part from the Tornado Flame, these two stack and "steam" damage is formed. Maybe the water reacting with the fire makes the steam and additional heat/damage is created. The TOTAL damage, from both, is now at...idk 33
I like the sound of this, but I do think it'd need to have a lot of thought and balancing put into it in order to make it work. You'd have to consider all the elements that can be made, PLUS all the new combinations that would arise out of them. Also, you would have to consider what happens when the target when they already have an affiliation (like a Gimard)
Also, a question: how long would the effects of the previous element stay? When Vahn "burns" the enemy with the Tornado Flame, can the other two avoid attacking the Gobu Gobu and then wait until their next turn, or does the "burn" heal itself? Would they have to attack right after Vahn does? Were you planning to incorporate it into something like the Variable Arts?
So it'd work, but it'd need to be tweaked and made concrete imo

Vahn goes up and uses Tornado Flame on the Gobu Gobu. Let's say the attack does 10 damage, but the "burn" part of fire boosts it to 15.first attack = fire damage
Noa runs up and now uses (insert water Hyper Art here) on the enemy. She also does 10 damage, and the "wet" part gives it a boost to...12.second attack = Water damage +fire damage = steam dmg

Alright so we're without a stack/new element. Gala runs up and uses his Thunder Punch on the Gobu Gobu. It deals the standard 10 damage, with a 15 total after the electricity is factored in. Add this to the 33 and we're up to 48 total.third attack = Lightning damage + steam damage = Additional damage
