both are very well done cartoons. some of the best of all time, imo

the action is awesome because it is grounded in reality and is accompanied by an awesome system that is easy to understand yet still magnificent to look at

the romance is great because it feels real (as it is a slow build up) without being shoved in your face by dedicating every other episode to the drama of it

and the plot is fantastic because the world they built is fantastic and they pay so much attention to detail

better than a lot of anime i've seen
