there is a big maturity and mindstate difference from teenager to adult (at least from all the adults that have told me so)

and besides, it would spice it up

i don't really like teenage protags

they tend to be the same characters in every game >_>

It's true, as well. I'm only 22, but trust me when I say you'll really start noticing differences as you get older. Look back at those kids in middle school now... are they mature to you or immature? How did you think back then? Now, you're in high school... keep an eye out for how everyone acts in "maturity." Now, in about 5-6 years, go to idk an amusement park during summer and see the high schoolers and how they act. See the difference?

You really don't notice it when you're younger, and that just goes to mean that I may not see how I act compared to when I'm 6 years older from now.

So I stick to my thoughts on it being someone that's out of their teenage age.

Just mentions Zup you Forgot Cloud from FF7. He was 21. Reading this argument I keep swapping side so how about we make a comprimise and make it like recently 20. Not too young and not too old

yeah he was pretty good as well. anything 20+ i think is fine. just as long as the dialogue and design clearly shows why the MC's a mature adult

oh and pls let's try not to make the MC a long-haired swordsman who's bad*** because he hardly talks or is violent. make the MC bad*** through the players' opinion of the MC

Exactly it has to be a cool guy youd wanna go hang out with not the creepy guy who never talks and thinks he's cool (Red) lol

yeah i tend to not like characters that were meant to be bad*** just because of the way they looked or the archetype they acted in

it's their choices that are the best

so is it going to be a male for sure?

it'd be cool to have a try at a good female MC, but it shouldn't be female for the sake of being female

Its harder to make a good Female MC then a good Male one in my Opinion
