Some levels of the heroes Ra-Seru and some of their weapons hit twice when used as an attack. For exmaple, Gala's end game mace (the one found in Juggernaut that looks like a double sided mace) will always hit 2x for each "Arms" selection.
Other instances of this are attack with Level 8 Terra, or a Level 5,6, or 7 Ozma. Although with Ozma the "Ra-Seru" attack must be the LAST entry in the command sequence.
Anyone ever notice the Double Hits from Ra-Seru/Weapons?

Yeah, I've taken notice to this stuff too. Unfortunately, the summed up numbers for the double attacks don't differ too much from the single attacks...At least from my experience. Noa's double attack sounds awesome though...Her smacking the enemy at extreme speeds with a "tap tap" every half second...Awesome...

True, it's not anymore powerful than a "single" hit would be. It is kind of cool however for racking up a large number of hits on the enemy. So with Gala or Noa you can equip a War God Icon and then select 9 of the appropriate "double" attack for a total of 36 hits. It's just nice to see the highest number possible when you get your character stats at the end of the game.
And yes, Noa's double hits strung together sound very cool. As far as I know, Vahn doesn't have any weapons or Ra-Seru levels that can do this? Correct me if I am wrong.
Which leads me to a kind of off topic point, Vahn is just not that great IMO. His Art List pales in comparison to Gala or Noa. He only has 3 and 4 command Art moves which don't chain together as well as Gala's or Noa's. Although I guess once Miracle Arts are available it's not much of a concern.

Noa's Ra-Seru attack is incredibly useful at level 9. Equipping the War God Icon and selecting Ra-Seru for the entire bar will result in higher damage than doing Miracle Arts twice. Vahn doesn't have any double hit combos, regarding the other question.TheMagician wrote:True, it's not anymore powerful than a "single" hit would be. Vahn is the best of the three at chaining together combos, actually. He can fit more arts in one bar than any of the others can. But the reason he doesn't excel in anything is because he's supposed to be the balanced character - better than Noa and Gala in some aspects and worse at others. He's certainly better than Gala for about the first 30 levels or so, imo.Which leads me to a kind of off topic point, Vahn is just not that great IMO. His Art List pales in comparison to Gala or Noa.
