"HEY! NO SERU ALLOWED IN HERE!" a fat man roared from behind the inn desk, his neck slopping
around. "DIDN'T YOU CLOWNS READ THE SIGN?!?"

"CLOWNS?!?" Uthma yelled back, clenching his fists. "IS THIS YOUR IDEA OF HOSPITALITY, FATSO?!?
INSULTING PEOPLE WHO COME IN HERE?!?"

"No need to lose your temper, kid," K remarked, but it fell on deaf ears. "Sheesh."

In the midst of the argument, a girl behind the counter to their right chimed in with a, "um, hello.
Sorry about Redollow. He lost a bunch of arguments earlier today. He tends to take it out on-"

"Elena," said Raive, nodding his head, smiling. "Long time no see."

The girl's eyes widened, and her mouth opened slightly in shock. "Er...Raive? Is that you?"

The redheaded man nodded and walked up to the counter, tapping on it. "Can I get some water, Elena?
Thirsty from our long trip. Wendy, Uthma, K? Would you like anything?"

K asked for the Rim Elm Special, but Wendy wasn't thirsty. Uthma was still arguing with Redollow.

"So....what brings you to Rim Elm again, Raive?" Elena asked, handing out the drinks. "More charity work?"

Raive shook his head, taking a sip of the cold, refreshing water. He looked right into Elena's eyes. "Your
memory still foggy?"

Uthma suddenly joined in on the conversation, having humiliated the innkeeper into leaving. "She got problems
with her memory?"

Elena was visibly shaken, biting her bottom lip. "N-no. I mean, I remember this bearded guy and Rika, but that's-"

"Where is Rika?" Raive asked.

"Who is Rika?" was Wendy's question.

"My Cyber Seru. It's a Theeder. Hold on, I'll get her. She's upstairs. Excuse me."

When the girl was gone, the group was quick to converse.

"Is this the girl, Raive? She doesn't seem like she'll get us into the tower," said Uthma.

"What's the deal with her memory?" K asked. "She bump her head or something?"

"Her name is Elena, and yes, she lost her memory. Stumbled into Rim Elm a few years ago, and the locals
took her in. Now she's a bounty hunter, I believe."

"I thought she was a bartender?" Wendy questioned.

"Side job."

"Okay now how is she getting us into the tower?" Uthma demanded.

"Well, I did some research," Raive replied with a sigh. "I'm almost positive she's the daughter of the current
Zalan."

"What?" Elena replied in shock. She was holding an inactive Theeder in her hands halfway down the staircase. "I'm...
I'm what?"

Raive sighed once more, breaking away from the group. "Elena, please, listen."

"The Zalan Mafia...they're bad people," the girl responded, shaking her head. "I...I don't have anything to do with them!"

"Elena I believe you might be-"

The bartender didn't let the man finish. She flew out the nearest door, hugging Rika tightly. She made her way down to
the Rim Elm shore and sat down on the sand, staring at the ocean.
