The Future of Legaia - Official Thread
Re: The Future of Legaia - Official Thread
Ian's mind raced, as he figured he could not take on the Super Cyber Seru on his own. No, he would have to hide. He quickly located his spot of choice in the form of a ledge not too high above him, but enough to keep out of the Bererker's sight. He leaped up and grabbed the ledge, pulling himself to his hiding spot.
Within a few moments, the Berserker slowly trudged through the sewer, it's long arm dragging along the ground. The stomps echoed around the almost-empty tunnel, and Ian had to hold his breath for fear of alerting the beast.
What the the the the the is that thing doing here? the swordsman thought to himself. He glanced to his left to watch the Super Cyber Seru continue to trek through the sewer system. He himself was about ready to drop down to follow it when his ears picked up sounds echoing to his right.
A massive force of Cyber Seru were marching in, lead by Ratayu soldiers.

"Uthma?" Elena called out as she poked her head into the inn.
Redollow's portly belly jiggled as he slammed his hand against the table. "Hey! Elena! Quiet in here!"
"Shut up," Elena retorted before closing the door on her way out.
The bartender folded his arms and whipped his head to the side in indignation. "No respect 'round here..."
A drunk sitting at the bar wiped drool from his lips, giggling.
"What are you laughin' at, Rummer?!?"
The drunk giggled again. "I think I wet meself."

"I don't think Uthma's in Rim Elm," Elena told K73SK and Wendy upon returning to the programmer's little lab. She bent over with her hands on her thighs, panting.
"Don't tell me you're outta breath already," the old man commented, packing up a bag with various parts and tools.
"I...ran...I'm tired, okay?"
"Sounds like we better head out to Jeremi," K73SK said, slinging the bag over his shoulder. He moved over to the closet in the corner and pulled out his katana.
"Why?" asked Wendy.
"Well for one, I bet you Uthma's on his way there as we speak."
"And?"
"You girls have no energy, and you're still young. Tch. Gotta get you exercising."
Elena rolled her eyes, pouting. "Are you calling us fat?"

"They're here," said Zalan as he turned off his communicator after a call from one of his subordinates. Sise-Neg, sitting on the other side of the desk, simply nodded. "You wanna head down there?"
The lord of Ratayu shook his head. "No, I should really be getting back to Ratayu."
Zalan raised an eyebrow, lightning another cigar. The smoke was thick in the air, but he kept right on smoking. "Now? You got those kids here and you're ditching already?"
"Oh," chuckled Sise-Neg. He stood up, placing the Cyber Seru Sword back in its scabbard on his waist. "They'll likely slaughter your entire force and chase me down to Ratayu. I'll be waiting for them there."
Zalan narrowed his eyes. "You counting on that?"
"I'm... a bit of a prophet when it comes to my own fate."
"That's not how prophecy works."
"With all due respect, Zalan," Sise-Neg began, opening the door. "You cannot even see that your own doom is upon you. I don't believe I could put my trust in one as foolish of yourself."
Zalan shook his head, killing his cigar on his desk. "Burn in the the the the, Sise-Neg."
"After you."
Zalan sat back in his seat, his forehead in his hand. What was Sise-Neg planning? The downfall of the Zalan Mafia? Was he plotting Zalan's own death? What was the point of opening the tunnels, then?
In the midst of his thoughts, Zalan's communicator beeped and he flicked it on, pressing it to his ear. "What?"
"Zalan, sir, Redhollow and Virus have reached the fifth floor, and our scouts spotted the incoming Hunters and Drake Castle soldiers. Awaiting your orders, sir."
------ ZALAN DECISION -------
A) Send out the remaining forces to meet the Hunters and soldiers. You handle Redhollow and Virus yourself
B) Put the tower on lockdown, sending out the Cyber Seru security. Trap Redhollow and Virus in the tower to buy some time
C) Let the Mafia break itself apart. Secretly follow Sise-Neg to see what he's plotting
D) Call in the Gola Gola evac Cyber Seru and fly them to the tower in Jeremi for your own safety
