Raive braced himself, staring down the enemy. Without directly looking at Elena, Raive told her, "Alright, wait for it to strike. I'll try to-"

"DIE! DIE! DIE!" Elena yelled, Rika already on her fists. Each punch fired lightning balls at the giant monster, turning its attention and screeches to her. Raive facepalmed, then remembered the current situation.

As the mother bug reared its claw back to strike, Raive jumped onto its back, quickly locating an opening between a few scales that had separated a bit for whatever reason. He raised his spear above his head, then thrust it deep into the flesh of the monster, eliciting a cry in pain from the monster, who staggered backward trying to get Raive off of its back.

Elena took advantage of this moment and fired more lightning balls at the exposed neck of the monster. She rushed up to its base and began to punch and kick the beast, trying to finish the battle quickly.

Raive climbed to the summit of the insect, twirling his spear above him to gain momentum. He leaped into the air, and aimed the spear down like a fireman pole or a shovel about to be thrust into the ground. The spear landed deep in the monster's skull, drawing thick, green blood and even more yells of pain.

This attack was the last one the monster could take, as it fell to the ground, shaking the grass, causing Elena to stumble and fall to her knees for a few seconds.

Raive dropped onto the grass in a roll, and placed his spear on his back once more. He motioned for Elena to lead the way.

"I'm gonna go get my scythe real quick," said Redhollow. Mr. Virus tripped him on the way out, and he and Damien shared a little laugh over the scene.

The three made their way to Mr. Virus's van, but he had to throw off a dead Gobu Gobu that had made its way onto the hood before biting the dust. "THIS is our transportation?" asked Damien in disgust.

"What? You scared of a little dust and blood?" asked Redhollow.

"Of course not, you moron!"

The trio got into the van with Damien taking the passenger seat, much to Redhollow's chagrin. "Why do I have to sit back here?"

"I don't want your stupid scythe up here," said Mr. Virus, taking a large gulp of some alcoholic drink. "THAT's why."

"So, where is our destination?" inquired Damien. "The Zalan Mafia Tower north of Usha?"

"Yeah, sure," said Mr. Virus. "After we light some people on fire."

"That is barbaric and-!" Damien began, when the van kicked into motion and the flamethrower attachment started to burn pedestrians too slow to get out of the way. Mr. Virus and Redhollow laughed the entire time, while Damien was shocked and disturbed.

The three began to board the Cyber Seru Train for their ride to the Sol Kingdom, earning stares of suspicion from other passengers. Nonetheless, they got on. Unfortunately for them, the bus fairly full, with only a few seats open here and there.

"Alright, where are we gonna sit..." said Redhollow.
