Portuguese brazil translation,plz!!!

Please, someone could give that light, I really wanted to play this game in Portuguese. I'm a big fan and if someone could put me in the way, I'd translate it myself. I just need some help to understand all this complicated compression in the text.

Help a fan of this game to be happy T.T

They contacted me a while ago as they were working on translating the game and needed some of my help. Here is a starting video they had done:

Although I don't remember there being ANY compression in dialogue text. Just some codes for changing color, pausing, line-breaks etc. Here are some of my raw notes:

Code: Select all

c1 XX = character's name. 
  00 = Vahn, 01 = Noa, 02 = Gala, 03 = Terra (the wolf's name)
c2 XX = item's name by id
c3 XX = magic's name by id
c4 XX = item's name by id (same as c2)
c5 XX = art's name by id
  00 = Vahn's Craze, etc.
c6 XX = unused?
c7 XX = Ra-Seru's name
  00 = Meta, 01 = Terra, 02 = Ozma

cf XX = color text
  00 = gray
  01 = blue
  02 = red
  03 = purple
  04 = green (terra's green)
  05 = teal (ozma's blue)
  06 = yellow
  07 = white
  08 = shadowed white
  09 = dark red (meta's color)

ce XX = show icons in text like buttons, symbols, currency and stats
  00 = X button, 01 = circle, 02 = square, 03 = triangle, 04 = R1, 05 = R2, 06 = L1, 07 = L2, 08 = G, 09 = I, 0a = A, 
  0b = values at? etc 0f = japanese hiragana of "ra-seru"
  10 = weapon symbol, 11 = helm, 12 = armor, 13 = boot, 14+ = ra-seru magic icons

So in dialogue seeing 1f cf 09 c7 00 cf 07 3A means...
1f = newline
cf 09 = start coloring text red
c7 00 = output meta's name
cf 07 = start coloring text white
3a = ':' character
=> "Meta: ...."
At any point between the cf XX and other flags, a 0xBF or 0xFF can show up (maybe some others) which makes it hard to extract dialogue.

Você fazia parte da equipe de Gledson.999? Eu vi já tinha visto esse vídeo e fui parar na página do Facebook onde tinha esse projeto, vi que a equipe tinha três pessoas e que foi parado porque encontrou muito bugs..

Sabe me dizer quais a dificuldades foram encostrada na tradução para o cancelamento do projeto?

Desculpe, só conheço uma questão menor. Não conseguimos encontrar uma imagem com texto em inglês.

Então eu não tenho certeza por que eles pararam, mas isso é triste :(

Can not find it at all .. These conditions that passed me I saved and for sure will be very late, but my main focus is to be able to understand this compression. I don't think there is any compression. Outside of the notes I posted above for inserting character/spell names into the chat and coloring it.

I have an app that pulls all the Dialogue out, I can find the location for you although it will probably be different in the ROM you have.

I believe NPC dialogue lines start with bytes 0x24, 0x1f.

Ehhhhh you're right. There is apparently compression in the early bit of the game up to Drake Kingdom!! ><
