"Crap!" QuickMan growled as the monstrous shadow of the rising ground rapidly began to envelop him and reduce the amount of ground he could retreat to to evade Bird's attack. However, his swift feet were able to do what was required of them, making a mad dash into the distance.

ElecMan, however, was not as fortunate. He tried to formulate a force field of yellow electric energy, but the sheer force and mass of the avalanche-like attack devoured him, and with a static-releasing hiss, the NetNavi was deleted.

Once the attack had subsided, QuickMan returned to the fray, pivoting on his foot and blasting off in Bird's direction without so much as a loss of acceleration. As he did so, he swiped his hand across the front of his face, removing the golden boomerang perched on his forehead.

Bird's shoulders heaved after having brought the massive pile of debris onto his first foe. Junk Soul did not appear to be the most physically-excelling type in Bird's arsenal.

In fact, that was only proven by the NetNavi still in the fray. The red-clad speedster flicked his wrist, and the golden blade spiraled through the air of the Cyberworld, cutting across Bird's arm, scraping the metal body of the robot's Soul.

But the attack did not end there. Utilizing the momentum of his sprint, QuickMan shot through the air, eyes locked down on his exhausted opponent. He altered the direction of his leap, diving straight downward.

Bird released a grunt as the practically instantaneous downward kick from QuickMan sent a burst of energy through his chest. He tucked his arms in to break the fall as he flew backward, tumbling around the floor.

The robot was able to get his palm onto the ground, pushing up and jumping back to his feet. As he did, his computer transitioned him to the Soul best suited for QuickMan - Colonel Soul.

QuickMan dashed straight in Bird's direction, having already replaced the boomerang back onto his forehead. Just as he was about to reach the robot, he raised the golden blade mounted on his forearm, the transformation was complete, and the blade was met with one of Bird's own - a green energy sword emanating from the end of his arm.

Bird's sword was evidently superior to QuickMan's, and he displayed the fact by pushing forward, forcing QuickMan back.

The red NetNavi smirked, dusting himself off as he got back to his feet. As he stood there, Bird's computer picked up on incoming hostiles from behind QuickMan; two specifically.

"Cavalry's finally here," QuickMan said. He looked Bird dead in the eyes, that cocky grin still plastered over his smug face. "Perfect timing. I've had enough of you, rust bucket."

"When will you idiots learn..."
