The ninja glanced around the rooftop, seeing nothing but the door to the stairway leading down and the railing preventing them from falling right off. Down below he could hear and see the armies fighting, but for some reason, there seemed to be quite a few Zalan thugs still...

Holy the the the the the Drake army is fighting...the Hunters? But why would...

Redhollow's eyes widened. Oh, dammit, Drake's working with Zalan and Sise-Neg!

The ninja slowly shook his head before returning his attention back to the battle between Mr. Virus and Zalan, which was tipping more and more in Zalan's favor as the Vera in Virus's back continued to drain the energy of the shovel-wielder, unbeknownst to him.

Gotta get that scythe and hack Zalan to pieces!

Redhollow watched as the two battled around, Zalan clearly getting the better of Mr. Virus, a knowing, cocky smirk on his face. The ninja leaned forward, ready to sprint. He swallowed a lump in his throat, knowing he had to act fast, precise, get the scythe, and still be adaptable to whatever moves Zalan might pull.

As Virus's shovel bounced off of Zalan's block, Redhollow made a mad dash towards the scythe, eyes never leaving his target. He ran almost as quickly as he had back when the Usha Research Center was close to exploding. He kept his head down the whole time, legs and arms pumping back in forth.

At just the right moment, he dived forward in a way that would allow him to roll and use the scythe to defend against Zalan's inevitable sword slash.

Redhollow grabbed the handle of the scythe and completed the roll perfectly, scythe poised for an excellent defense that he could follow through with his own attack.

But Zalan did not chop at him. Instead, he rammed the flat of the Astral Sword against the crouching ninja, sending him crashing through the railing and over the tower, falling down...down...down...

"Ailee! Chop the neck!" roared Sir Z as he swiped at the Berserker's long arm. He then crouched down, allowing Lady Ailee to dash forward and jump off of his back, sword flashing through the air, cutting into the chest of the Berseker. The monster shrieked, swiping out, sending Elena toppling backward.

"Elena! You okay?"

The girl gave a thumbs up, shaking her head to regain her composure. "I'm fine!"

Sir Z nodded and returned his attention the Super Cyber Seru in front of him, holding his sword at the ready. Lady Ailee did the same.

"What should we do?" she asked him.

He leaned to avoid a downward swipe, chopping at the thick branch-like appendage without much result. "We need to-"

"Get Uthma!" roared K73SK as he ran right past the fighters, chest heaving up and down. "I have an idea!"

"Bye!" Elena called after him before returning her attention to the Berserker. "Wait...where's Wendy?"

As if on cue, the redheaded girl screamed, running into Elena's area of sight. She was being chased by what looked to be a Kemaro with...Swordie blades in its mouth, chopping at her like some sort of automatic, deadly robot saw.

"SOMEBODY HELP!"

Elena ran off to assist her friend while Sir Z and Lady Ailee stayed behind to fight the Berseker.

"Wait..." said Lady Ailee. "What is it doing?"

The Berseker reared its head back before suddenly thrusting it forward. Its long, gnarled mouth opened wide, and out poured a stream of dark purple gas. It burst from the Super Cyber Seru's jaw so quickly that the two could not avoid it fully, and it singed their right sides.

Lady Ailee's eyes opened wide as she was unable to move her arm. The entire portion of it was numb. She looked to Sir Z, who did the same thing, dropping his sword.

"What the the the the the?!?" the armored Hunter questioned. The Berserker screeched into the air again, stalking towards the two stunned Hunters.

K ran straight into the tunnel, looking left and right for Uthma, even calling his name out. His heart was beating quickly, and his face was starting to heat up. Gotta find Uthma...Where the the the the the is he?!?

The Cyber Seru programmer got his answer as he dropped down to hear Uthma yelling in excitement, punching the air with his Zenoir arm, throwing what looked to be fireballs wrapped in electricity.

"Uthma?" called the old man, surprised. "How...how the the the the the did you complete the-?"

Uthma halted his punches, breathing heavily, a smile on his face. "Hey! K! Where ya been?"

K73SK shook his head and looked over at what appeared to be Ian lying on the ground, shaking. He then glanced over to the side to see Sise-Neg getting to his feet, hand reaching for the sword on his belt.

"Uthma! Watch out!"

"What are you so freaked out about?" Uthma asked, glancing over at Sise-Neg, only to see a gold-and-purple wave of electric energy blasting at him. He barely had time to dive to the ground to avoid it.

"Well, well...Seems you've forced me to use this!" said Sise-Neg, chuckling. He kicked his crossbow aside. "You're not half bad, Uthma."

The mercenary jumped back to his feet, dusting his clothes off. He kept his eye on Sise-Neg's sword - the magnificent blade Damien had crafted.

"Gonna break that thing in half," he muttered, clenching his Zenoir fist.

"Try it," replied Sise-Neg.

"Don't, Uthma!" called K73SK. "Do NOT let that blade or it's energy wave touch your arm!"

"Why not?"

"The properties of that sword have the capability to shut down the energy that Cyber Seru run on! That arm is attached to your bloodstream! If he shuts down your Zenoir-!"

Uthma looked to Sise-Neg, swallowing a lump in his throat. The lord of Ratayu had a smile on his face, brandishing the sword. "I'll kill you."

B)[this one is cheap] Uses his scythe by slashing it into the wall of the tower, thus slowing down his falling speed.

"So..." began Sise-Neg, chuckling as he readied the sword to swing another energy wave at Uthma. "Will you take your chances, or will you-"

"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!" Uthma screamed, sprinting towards the exit of the tunnel. Sise-Neg was caught off guard, giving Uthma a few extra moments to get ahead.

"Uthma! C'mon! Hurry!" K73SK yelled after the mercenary.

Uthma's chest was heaving up and down as he sprinted. He never once slowed or looked behind him. He did, however, notice that Ian was still on the ground ahead of him, incapable of moving.

Crap...Should I help him, or...?

"Uthma, duck!" roared K. Uthma's thoughts were interrupted, but he did as he was commanded, diving to the ground to avoid Sise-Neg's electric wave. He jumped back to his feet and kept running, knowing he'd have to make his decision soon...

Redhollow said and thought nothing as he flew over the edge of the tower. His eyes were wide and he was absolutely speechless. Was this the end?

Oddly enough, the ninja felt no fear. None at all. No sadness, no anger...nothing.

He just...fell...

* * *

The Berserker stomped towards its two handicapped foes, swinging its long arm left and right. Sir Z and Lady Ailee had to utilize every ounce of energy and focus into avoiding the attacks. As they were pushed farther and farther back, the distance between them and their fallen swords grew, lessening their chances at survival.

"Z! What do we do?!?"

The armored Hunter did not respond, weaving in and out of the downward swipes of the Berserker. He jumped over a leg sweep, then grabbed Lady Ailee's wrist with his usable hand, sprinting as far away from the beast as they could.

At that point, Elena, Wendy, and the Swordie-Kemaro returned into the scene, with Elena on the back of the Cyber Seru, slamming her fist against it, yelling at it to "Get away from her! Away! Go! Away! Now! Stop!"

Sir Z looked over his shoulder to see why the Berserker was no longer chasing after them, and he got his (unfortunate) answer.

The Berserker shrieked into the air once again before the ground around it began to shake. In a flash, rock pillars circling the Super Cyber Seru appeared, erupting from the ground.

One of them was right underneath Elena, Wendy, and the Swordie-Kemaro, hurling them far and away into the air...

... where they slammed right into Redhollow. The impact of the three pushed the four of them against the wall of the tower, crashing into one of the windows.

Redhollow rolled to the side, clutching his back, which had a few cuts in it from the glass. He shook his head before turning his attention back to the three around him - Elena, Wendy...and a freakish Cyber Seru that seemed to be a blend of Kemaro...and Swordie blades in its mouth. The impact had nearly destroyed the Cyber Seru completely, though it kept kicking its feet like a broken toy.

Elena got to her knees, her palm against her forehead. "Owwwww...Wendy?"

The redheaded girl sat up, picking small glass shards out of her arm, wincing as she did so. "Y-yeah..."

"What the the the the the was that?!?" Redhollow barked. Elena and Wendy hadn't noticed the ninja, and jumped and squeaked as he yelled at them. They soon regained their composure.

"Oh...um..." started Wendy. "We...we were fighting the Berserker..."

"Nooooooo," interrupted Elena, giggling. "You were running from this little guy."

"Shut up!"

Elena closed her eyes as she smiled, satisfied. "Rrrrrreowr," she purred, mocking her friend.

Redhollow rolled his eyes, getting to his feet, picking up his scythe. "Well...you two...go...do...whatever the the the the the it is you do. I got a Mafia boss to kill."

"Can we watch?" Elena asked, hopping to a standing position.

"Elena..." Wendy grumbled.

"Wait, what?" asked Redhollow. "You wanna...watch?"

"Yeah!" said Elena. "Beats going back down there to get smacked by that Berserker thing!"

"Elena! They need our help!"

Redhollow looked them both up and down, snickering. "You two don't look so helpful. But fine. C'mon."

Before the ninja could take a step, however, the three turned to look outside the broken window, watching Zalan fall down to his death, screaming in fear.

"Dammit Virus," grumbled Redhollow. Wonder where that Astral Sword is.

"Uh...guys..." said Wendy. Redhollow looked back to the window, where Wendy was looking. His eyes widened as the Berserker climbed up the tower, heading straight for the roof.

Oh crap.

Hollow throws tables, chairs, and does whatever he can to slow down the beast [fighting the beast solo if he has to], meanwhile he tells Elena and Wendy to go to Virus on the roof, remove the Vera on his back [and if she can, make Wendy use it to heal him], and to meet up with Red ASAP to help with the beast. Then make Elena smooch Red, because he allowed it.

Redhollow Kisses Elena for luck and then goes after the Berserker with nothing but a shard of glass to fight it. Elena confused, stares blankly into space while Wendy goes up the tower to meet the berserker and Red at the top.
