"You're really starting to show your age with these ignorant moves, Uthma," came Sise-Neg's voice from the darkness behind Ian. The lord of Ratayu stepped forth from the shadows, crossbow in one hand, Chaos Breaker in the other. "I should be thanking you for making this so easy."

Uthma gripped his sword tighter, unsure of what to do next. Should he attack? Interrogate? Run? What was Sise-Neg up to? What was Ian doing here? What about the Cyber Seru army.

"Drop the sword," ordered the crossbow-wielder.

"N-" Uthma began nervously.

The crossbow lifted up, aimed right for Uthma's chest. "Drop. The. Sword."

"Well, well, well..." Zalan commented, leaning against the railing on the edge of the Zalan Tower roof. He crushed the tip of his cigar against the top of the railing, exhaling the remainder of the smoke for his chest. "The big fight, huh."

Redhollow twirled his scythe in his hands, loosening his wrists and arms. He looked over to Mr. Virus, who had maintained that calm posture the entire time. The ninja looked back to Zalan. "Time's up, Zalan."

"Right," chuckled Zalan. He stood up from the railing, lifting the Astral Sword from its dormant position against the railing. The Zalan Mafia boss lifted the sword high into the air, the sun glistening against it's tip. "Big-a** sword...can cut you two in half with one swing."

Redhollow suddenly dashed forward, his scythe chopping down against the Astral Sword. The sound of the blades clashing together resonated through the air around them for the tiniest instant. As soon as the metal tapped onto the other, the blades were retracted and held at the ready for another attack.

Zalan chuckled once again, eyeing Redhollow up and down. "Anxious to fight, huh?"

"You have no idea."

"Very well then." The mafia boss rolled his neck and crouched down a few inches, not budging an inch. "Go ahead and swing again."

Redhollow twirled the scythe again, eyes never leaving Zalan. "Gladly."

"Lady Ailee! Lady Ailee!"

The co-leader of the Hunters thrust her sword into the chest of a Zalan thug before turning around to face the messenger. "What?"

The messenger pointed into the distance towards the incoming Berserker and Cyber Seru army. Lady Ailee's eyes widened. "Uthma went into the cave to investigate! We-"

"Wait, what cave?" asked Lady Ailee, confused. "There are no caves around here."

"Er...what?" asked the messenger. "No, milady, there was definitely a cave. O-over there!"

The messenger identified the spot Uthma had jumped into.

Lady Ailee's hand moved to cover her mouth in shock. She hurried over to King Drake, who had been waiting behind his troops, giving them commands without participating in combat himself. "King Drake! Your Majesty!"

"What is it?"

"Zalan opened the tunnel."

"N-n-no! W-what?!?'

Lady Ailee whipped around and pointed to the Berserker as it trekked through the battlefield towards the Drake Castle and Hunter army. She then directed his attention to the hole Uthma had ducked into.

King Drake was speechless. "W-w.."

"Coward!" Sir Z roared as he leaped off of the back of a Hunter, his sword swinging down at King Drake, who had not seen the attack coming. The blade flashed in the sunlight before chopping into Drake's shoulder, lodging partway through his chest.

"Z?!? What are you-?!?" Lady Ailee began. Sir Z released the blade and turned around, tackling Lady Ailee to protect her from the incoming sword swing from a Drake Castle soldier.

The Hunter leaders leaped to their feet and their masterful combat skills began to shine. Lady Ailee's sword quickly found the bare throats of the incoming Drake Castle soldiers while Sir Z was able to pick up a fallen soldier's sword to use as his own, hacking off limbs with clean swipes.

When the area around them was clear, Lady Ailee looked to Sir Z, panting and confused. "Z, what is going on?"

Sir Z looked over to King Drake, who was laying in the grass, wounded and chuckling weakly, blood in his mouth. "Bastard's a traitor."

"What do you mean?"

Sir Z stomped over to King Drake, gripping the sword lodged in his chest. "He and Sise-Neg planned this ambush. They were gonna kill us all here."

"You're...you're not as stupid as one would...th-think," commented King Drake. Sir Z pulled the sword from the dying monarch's body, disgusted with the king.

"Traitor."

"There is...nothing you can do...Hunters..."

"You have until I count to ten before I shoot you," said Sise-Neg.

Uthma still did not release his sword. Should he?

"10..."

Ian was still alive and looked able to move, and he had two darts in him. Perhaps...

"9..."

...one dart would be alright? Perhaps he could take the first one and still have the energy to...

"8..."

...strike at Sise-Neg. But what about that Chaos Breaker?

"7..."

And though the area was dimly lit, Uthma swore he saw...

"6..."

...a sword hidden on Sise-Neg's belt. Could it have been the...

"5..."

...same sword Damien had created? Could he have opened the case?

"4..."

What was the sword capable of? Could Uthma's own skills match it?

"3..."

Uthma swallowed a lump in his throat. He had to think, and fast.

"2..."

Make the wrong move and I'm dead...

"1..."

A) Let the dart strike you, then attack Sise-Neg
B) Let the dart strike your Zenoir arm, then unleash your attack
C) Make a mad dash for Sise-Neg, trying to dodge or block the dart
D) Use Ian as a shield so that you can take down Sise-Neg without being harmed

And I understand how things work.


Just because it doesn't feel pain doesn't mean its not gonna receive damage. Pretty sure that shot could drastically affect the Seru. It could destroy the circuitry of the arm. I might change my vote to D.... Zup just label mines as unknown for now.
