Uthma had to quickly pick up his sword from the grass to defend a chop from Redhollow, who was fuming from the burn wound on his hand. His sword slashed at the blade of the scythe, but he failed to gain any sort of leverage in their fight. The ninja twirled his weapon around and around, keeping Uthma on his toes.

Elena continued to sprint with the case in her arms, constantly looking behind her for pursuers. She failed to see the Kemaro running to her, though, and her shins slammed against the Cyber Seru, causing her to trip and drop the case completely.

K was quick to pick it up, but he had to roll to the side to avoid a stab from Damien's naginata. He drew his sword with a vicious chop at his rival's throat, but the pole part of the target's weapon intervened.

Wendy danced around the swordsman's blade, an adrenaline she hadn't felt in a long time. Her body dodged out of harm's way repeatedly, and she even got in two cuts on the man's exposed arm.

Meanwhile, the Kemaro jumped back to it's feet, shaking its head and looking about. It failed to see Ulkos leap into the air and slam into it with its fist shape. The blow caused the Kemaro's spike to shoot outward, cutting Uthma on the arm, giving Redhollow time to kick the mercenary to the ground.

The Kemaro got back up and bit one of Ulkos's fingers, then ran after the spike like a dog chasing a bone.

Redhollow's scythe glistened in the sunlight and chopped down, aiming for Uthma's chest. His sword arm was wounded, and he couldn't use it to defend himsef. He was forced to use his arm to swipe it away, but a large gash was the consequence for doing so.

Before the ninja could finish off Uthma, Raive jumped in and swatted him across the back of the head with his spear, opening his own cut. Redhollow fell to the side, clutching his bleeding skull. Raive helped Uthma to his feet and started to take the boy to safety, away from the battle.

Mr. Virus suddenly rushed into the scene, ramming into Raive and Uthma from the side with his shoulder. Uthma yelled in pain as he hit the ground, but Raive was quick to turn it into a roll and defend the fallen mercenary. His spear pounded against Mr. Virus's shovel, and his muscles were tested to their limit. The man was just too physically powerful.

Raive performed a series of complicated steps, utilizing the momentum he received from it as best as he could to counterattack Mr. Virus, but other than some cuts here and there, he failed to win the battle against him.

To make matters worse, Redhollow was advancing upon them, ready to slay the downed Uthma. Raive had no way of defending them both, and he knew it. He called to the others for help, but they were busy or too far to get to them in time.

As Redhollow's scythe came down, Raive dashed towards the ninja, thrusting his spear straight into the ninja's stomach. The weapon pierced his body nearly halfway before the push ended.

Mr. Virus swung his hammer at the back of Raive's head, and the impact was too much for his neck to sustain...
