Re: Legaia Trademark Status
Sheeez this thread. Let me just complete my game and see if we have a chance making Legaia 3. Well about the copyrights, I don't know about copyrights. We have to make Legaia 3. Imagine thousands of people dreaming of it's revival.

If we did make a L3 and only thousands of people bought it... We'd be screwed.
So let's imagine the Billions of people dreaming about it

Re: Legaia Trademark Status
Honestly at this point in time we should focus on small fan projects, like the one I'm working on.
If we want to dream about getting Sony's blessings and making a console sequel, we would have to make a business proposal to Sony with at least a partially finished product and try to sell it to them. Hopefully we would have some shares in the game's profits.

Legend of Legaia, a pinnacle of human achievement, will always have a place in my heart

Re: Legaia Trademark Status
I'm already doing a fan project.
And that might not work considering there are other games currently making money Sony would rather put it's interest into, like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy. Legaia didn't do as well as those games, so we'd probably need to work in another direction, such as a remaster or something.
the the the the, if Sony would just put Legaia on the PSN market, that could be enough to jump start the fanbase's crave again. It could even bring in new fans. >____>

They should put it free on the PS Store, that way they can see how many people are into it.

Re: Legaia Trademark Status
They are definitely not gonna put it for free. If anything, considering how all the other ps1 games that were released along with it are 10 dollars, it'll probably cost 10 bucks too. Not to mention, seeing how a physical disc costs like 30 bucks, 10 is a steal.
it really do be like that tho

Re: Legaia Trademark Status
I agree. Though I haven't played Legaia 2, I can't imagine a Legaia game without Seru. Also, I hear that the Mystics or whatever they use were a pretty big step down from Seru.
