Legaia Trademark Status
Re: Legaia Trademark Status
we need to purchase the actual copyright from Sony, also. And not to mention, none of us are professionals so making a game that large isn't conceivable here. Not to break your hopes or anything, but making games is no walk in the park.

After a while dont things become public record? Like Dracula or Historical figures. I mean people have made movies and books about things that im pretty sure were trademarked but after a whie it wasnt necessairy any more. Now I might be totally wrong but I just wanted to put that out there
Red: I've seen a 10-way.

Nothing ever goes public domain. Mickey Mouse Protection Act clearly shows that the length of copyright is 20 years plus the number of years since Steamboat Willie was released.
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.

Re: Legaia Trademark Status
I mean that whenever something would enter the public domain, Disney, Sonny Bono's descendants, or someone else with money and influence persuades the U.S. Congress to extend the length that a work is in copyright before enters the public domain. These extensions are, of course, retroactive.
