Favorite Children's Shows

Post by Rammerrush » Fri Oct 07, 2011 8:23 pm

When I was a kid there were a bunch of shows that I just loved. However, now that I can think for myself I've looked back at those shows and realise how rediculous they were, but they were still awesome when it mattered lol which is what counts. Like my favorite show was Beetle Borgs. It was kinda like power rangers but I think awesomer.

So what are some of your guys favorite children's shows?
Red: I've seen a 10-way.
Ram: That's how I met your mother, Red.

The earliest things I remember watching and enjoying were Big Bad Beetle Borgs, VR Troopers, Super Human Samurai Squad (those three were crappy Power Ranger rip-offs yet I hated the Power Rangers....odd), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Amazing Spiderman, X-Men, Transformers and G.I. Joe (Cobrrraaaaa!)

Power Rangers actually used a couple of the Beetle Borg costumes for bad guys in one of the Power Ranger series.

And Rocko's Modern Life was awesome. I didn't list that cuz I wasn't actually a 'kid' when it was on and it had so much innuendo in it that I can't honestly think of it as a Children's Show (even though it was considered one).

They actually re-used Beetle Borg characters ALOT throughout Power Rangers. The one i'm specifically referring to though is: (Ripped straight from Wikipedia) Five random Beetlborgs suits (Shadowborg, The Green Hunter Beetleborg, Dragonborg (minus his antenne), Fireborg and Ladyborg) were re-used in the Power Rangers Wild Force episode Forever Red as remnants of the Machine Empire, who would plan to reactivate Serpentera.
