What's your library like?
What's your library like?
I love love love love love love love music, so I keep all of it organized on my computer and iTunes and all that. As I was doing some clean up the other day, I got a look at my library and noticed it wasn't very diverse (like 90% hip hop, 10% everything else), but I still love it.
So what does your library consist of? Genres, artists, songs, albums, etc?
And does anyone have a last.fm? It's this site I just got linked to the other day that keeps track of what songs you listen to, and it sets up radio stations customized for you to play songs you like or new ones the site thinks you might enjoy. Here's mine for example: http://www.last.fm/user/G-Locke
As of right now, my library (that's been put on iTunes) consists of:
Alternative Hip Hop - 21 songs
Alternative Rock - 4 songs
Bluegrass - 1 song
Comedy Hip Hop - 7 songs
Conscious Hip Hop - 5 songs
Country Pop - 1 song
Crunk - 2 songs
East Coast Hip Hop - 8 songs
Electropop - 2 songs
Funk - 1 song
G-Funk - 4 songs
Gangsta Rap - 5 songs
Hardcore Hip Hop - 16 songs
Heavy metal - 1 song
Hip Hop - 122 songs
Horrorcore - 2 songs
Jazz Rap - 1 song
K-Pop - 2 songs
Neo Soul - 1 song
Nu Metal - 2 songs
Pop - 5 songs
R&B - 12 songs
Rap Rock - 11 songs
Reggae Fusion - 1 song
Rock - 1 song
Snap & B - 1 song
Soul - 1 song
Southern Hip Hop - 1 song
West Coast Hip Hop - 7 songs
That adds up to 224 songs, along with 152 albums and 88 artists. I'm tryna expand genres lol. Getting into R&B and a little bit of K-Pop
--------------------------- tl;dr ------------------
1. I like music
2. last.fm is a cool site
3. Discuss your library and music taste

it really do be like that tho
Re: What's your library like?
There's no such thing as having too many songs >__<
160 ain't nothin' boy
Have you tried making playlists? I have a bunch that correspond to different moods so that I listen to pretty much my entire library regularly, depending on my mood
I also found a bunch of old CDs my cousin made back when she was living with us for a bit, and there are tons of songs on there. I'ma go through them and add the songs I like ^____^

Re: What's your library like?
1 playlist. Favorites.
I had another one for calming music, but it was erased by mistake; twice.

Re: What's your library like?
I wish I was boring enough to listen to only 160 songs. But I always need something new to listen to, and frankly I agree with mjz... Never enough.
