I opened my iTunes recently and actually looked at the genre listings, and I got:

Reggae fusion - 1
Rap Rock - 4
Pop Rap - 1
Pop - 3
Neo Soul - 1
J-Pop - 1
Hip Hop - 53
Hip Hop/R&B - 7
Gangsta Rap - 9
G-Funk - 1
Classical - 1
Choir - 1
Alternative Rock - 1
Alternative Hip Hop - 9

I feel like I really need to branch out genre-wise. Thing is, I pretty much only listen to hip hop, so idk anything about other genres

This topic is just for y'allz to get me to hear more music I would never try out on my own. Here are some rules and stuff:

1. I will MOST LIKELY not like country or metal. Tried to get into them before, but it didn't work so well
2. I prefer lyrics. They don't necessarily have to be as deep as the stuff in hip hop, but I prefer lyrics
3. I usually prefer the chorus to be sung by girls. idk why but it sounds more beautiful that way >_>
