Yeah, well, that's what I grew up listening to and I feel like it's the genre that best gives a full experience (beat and lyrics), but it's definitely not for everyone.

Though as a warning I did mention I had failed to get into metal before, so...

To be fair, they're pretty heavy for a jazz band. You might like some of the more laid-back tracks later on in the album once you get there.
