I'm Back!

I know, this isn't the first time I've said that! When Red tried to pull me back before, it was while I was experiencing a lot of computer issues. In fact, I've been without my computer for the last 6 or 7 months!
I've reset my home tabs and LoL.net is one of them, so I hope to get back into the mix 'round here.
Also, would you guys be interested in a LoL1 Let's Play series? I've been considering starting a Youtube channel and making LoL1 my first official series. I know there are a few out there already but I like LoL dangit!!!
Anyhow, I won't wall text (much) so I'll fill you all in on my other stuff soon...

You're back! (AGAIN!)
Welcome back nemesis.
You also mentioned nothing of computer issues, AFAIK. Otherwise I would have been more patient.

More updates on me!!!!! (I'm semi-interesting.... Kind of)
I recently used Gamemaker to make a video game (it was the one you make during the tutorial). I've also downloaded (but not used yet as of this post) inkscape, gimp, blender and sketchup. It's alot to digest but I'm hoping to crack into them all soon.
I also recently got ahold of a nice screen capture/editor software thats FREE!!!
Windows Essential Encoder 4... What little I've done with it, it works well although I understand it has a 10min recording limit for free users (but you can make as many 10min videos as you like and splice them together, so....).
I've spent like 5 days investigating various free screen cap/editors: ezvid (won't allow you to export the file to anywhere but youtube and also leave's its own annoying music and intro that you can't get rid of), BB flash (which stopped recording after three seconds), camstudio (there was some error that I couldn't resolve despite my attempts, that I don't remember) and at least one other I have since forgotten....
As I said in my first post, I'm heavily considering starting my own Youtube channel focused on gameplay/commentary. I want to have an excuse to learn to be entertaining, video shoot/edit, minor animation, etc. As I understand it, it takes a TON of views to actually make any money off it however (which is an issue for me atm).
/WallTextEnd (for now....)

I want to make a walkthrough of it myself, but I'm waiting for more subscribers so that I will actually have a audience to see it's amazing-ness. If ya do it to early, then when you DO have a audience, non of them will see the lol walkthrough because it will be so buried under all your other videos.

Thanks for the input Prayrius. A rather interesting idea. I've yet to make any ground on the YT thing though. I've been wondering what I should do despite the fact I have several 'series' ideas. Part of the problem is not having time and space to record as my comp is in our living room. My gf loves the tv and I won't record in front of her... soooo lol

This is true. But obviously the hard part tends to be getting a consistent viewer base in the first place. Usually if you have an audience, you're good to go. Not likely gonna lose em unless you're just an awful person.

Well...a number of things, really.
The first is to just have good content. Put 140% into every video and take advantage of every skill and amount of free time and ounce of motivation you have, even if absolutely nobody watches your channel, knows who you are.
And do it regularly. The period in which you have NOBODY checking your channel is prolly the best for setting up what works for you. Watch your vids, see what's wrong/unlikable, and work on it. Figure out when you have free time, and how consistent your updates can be. Make time to make your videos.
From there, just...start asking people to check out your channel. But NOT in an obnoxious way. That doesn't work. Maybe if you have some nice ol chums from the Internet who have similar interests. Link people to your channel, try to contact/get in touch with others who are in the same boat as you, whatever. Prolly the most difficult part, but...shut up and do it.
Prolly wrote nothing you don't already know, but...shush it's free
