Ughhhh screw him -- Dein @ Sidejumping

I STILL cannot beit Dein. Took me long enough to beat Balzac (lol @ his name).

Sidejumping is actually pretty easy if you sorta cheat.
If you're using a PS2 controller, put it down on a stable surface, like a table or something. Next, put your palms on the left and right sticks. Now all you have to do is move your hand as if you're clapping really fast, only with your palms down. Make sure your movements are symmetric and it'll still work for the input sequence. I got over 100 easily with this trick. Unfortunately, I can't do this on an emulator so I have to rely on the good old regular quick button pressing T_T

I just got a score of 103 in Sidejumping. The trick, and it may be the same as the above poster is saying, is to move both analog sticks out, and then move them both in, and repeat this process as fast as possible.

The key is with Dein go steady until close to the end then pass him. When you pass him not only does he pause I believe which gives you a slight advantage for a second but after he speeds up like a demon and you will possibly never beat him at that speed. The way I do it is put my right hand on both of the joysticks and move them really fast back and forth. They don't go out and in at the same time but it seems to work. Beaten Dein several times with this setup although I will say it's not easy.

I think I've gotten around that, probably up to 80. But dang I hated Dein, he reminded me of Ixis so much. >:I

He gets 79 when he speeds up like that, and 68 when he doesn't. If you can consistently get 85 or higher, than it doesn't really matter if you overtake him quickly or rush forward at the end.
