I hated Ayne

He was useful for taking hits and dealing tons of damage, but he was boring as the the the the to watch

In turn based RPGs, flash is important to me

Yea, that was my biggest gripe with Ayne. No Origin spells, no Mystic Art, and a comparatively limited amount of attacks, which all looked similar and basic. I did think his Soaring Axe Variable Art as well as his Hyper Arts were pretty cool though.

Looks like I'm the only one who used Ayne, Kazan 'dizzy. Ayne is actually pretty awesome later game imo. He has high def, really high ATK, and lots of HP. He is weak magically of course but I have enjoyed him overall. Kazan...He is so unbalanced. He is basically God-mode early on but his level up boosts waiver end game and he ends up with sad-average stats across the board. Probably the worst character end-game but I love the character. I think I used Sharon once, and was surprised at how much damage she did and whatnot, probably a solid choice. I've never really used Maya passed when I had to, I'm not really impressed with her.
If I were to replay I'd probably pick Ayne,Sharon atm.
