Okay so basically, I'm pitching 2000 forum gold for the winner to an art competition. I'll see if I could do this regularly (and the quizzes despite me lacking Gold right now). I want everyone to feel welcome so I'm trying to set up simple rules:
Dah Rules:
- Basically you're just posting drawings of Legaia characters/scenes/anything legaia. But to make it interesting ONLY LEGAIA BASED ART IS ACCEPTED (talk to me if you wanna post Legaia 2 and maybe original 3 stuff).
- Don't worry, I understand if you're worried that "This guy can draw perfectly while my stuff are only stick figures!" Because of this, I want to ask that the judges (everyone else on the site) rate from 1-25 on other aspects (I'll explain further down).
- Try to keep it at 1-2 entries per contest. In other words, you can redraw something if you don't like it (not possible after it's been judged mind you.)
- If you're not big on drawn art, I'm sure we can work something out if you have a sculpture, a writing piece, or a poem or something. Just PM me and I'll ask here.
- You don't have to post a picture for a contest. If you just want a rating for just because, then by all means, go ahead and post. I understand sometimes you just want a critic or you might wanna redraw something to see if you can improve a rating (of course if you won't get a prize for that).
- Try to follow the rules of the whole site (goes without saying). AKA nothing graphic or... "Not for the work place"
- Try to keep the ranting/complaints down to simple PMs. If you think you've been badly critic'd or this whole thing has been fixed, I'm sure we can figure something out peacefully.
- No bribing/scamming/demoralizing. You know exactly what I mean. Just because you lost at someone who used Crayola, that doesn't mean you suck and that doesn't give you the right to try to pay a judge/demoralize the winners or losers. I must obey this as well...
- Have fun.
Rating:
0-5 Creativity (How much thought was put into it)
0-5 Style/Originality (Does it have a touch of yourself in there?)
0-5 Resemblance (Does it still look like [Original Source]?)
1-5 Bias (What do you give it? What do you personally like about it?)
0-5 Sharpness/Color (Is it sharpened with confidence? Do the colors attract attention?)
I'm not sure who you want as judges, so I'll see what I'll do (might be anyone not part-taking to the Mods/Admins or V.I.Ps.)
