I meant just completely small random islands, like the volcano in legaia 2 or the "secret island."

Why are they hunting though, they could have easily built a farm and became vegetarians instead of risking their lives outside the wall.

Well who want's to be a vegetarian when there are a bunch of tasty Slimes right outside your giant wall.

ram makes a good point... hunting is the only food source they've had for awhile... its would have taken too long to grow crops
it really do be like that tho

They could have just hunted long enough to get some crops going. Then they could have stopped hunting or at least cut back since it wouldnt be their only source of food. It really would have been better for them all around.

also, they're asian. rice and other rootcrops should be their staple food. they could also have gone fishing, they have a boat yet they don't use it.

Well maybe there arent any salt water fish. You're all ways fishing in fresh water in the game

Rim Elm was right on a shoreline. Growing crops really wouldn't be feasible for them.
