In the end it was destroyed... Again...
Well; it's really more of a hunting village rather a place of scholars...

Vahn:... And that's what happened...
Draken scientist: a giant seru ate noa's parents? FASCINATING!...
Vahn: a---
Scientist(s): fascinating!

[go to the room full of scientist in draken castle (after seru rim elm is born :P) and you'll get it... How annoying...
it really do be like that tho

If you see the wall in the video before you start the game to me it looks like dirt...it's brown and textured alot like dirt but it doesn't make sense how a wall of dirt would keep out the monsters. In the game it's such a weird color and I'm not sure what it's made of. Was wondering earlier cause I was actually thinking of remaking it in minecraft.

I think it's made of stone, possibly something such as granite?

Clearly, whatever it is made of is sturdy enough to require a jackhammer to reliably demolish.
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.

I would've guessed this.

Really guys, it didn't have to be the best wall in the world, it just had to keep the mist (and thus Seru) OUT. It fulfilled it's purpose until Juggernaut STOMPED it out with his hype Kamehameha breath of death.

... Am I the only one who thought the Draken scientists were funny enough to mention?
it really do be like that tho
