yea im a new member i got CRAZY good at fishing to the point where i was pulling out lippians within 1-10s so i got the 50k FP i wanted pretty quickly .

well... what was left of the 50k by time i got that good .

You can tell from this video that even if Spirit is possible to hook it would be impossible to reel in without any cheats. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist in the normal game though.

So I know I covered this soooomewhere but not sure where (this forum?). But yes, I stepped through the code of the game and they removed the Spirit fish from the fishing table. It was essentially a matrix of Legendary Rod and the RNG like so....*warning bad ASCII table incoming*

Okay so that doesn't look good at all and probably doesn't help visualizing, but they essentially moved the Spirit down a row in the table where it can't be reached. If the game had another Rod, then you could catch it. So I think you could edit the rod you're using to value 3 (non existant) and be able to catch the spirit. Still at the rarest chance in RNG, but I don't know if it will crash the game or if the other things you catch would all be Spikefish. Haven't tested it /

Hrm, can't say for certain but I know at the time I was debugging all things fishing. I remember one thing was the correlation between size and points. So I was checking the max size of all fish, the 1024 points probably came from a max Charger or other lesser fish. Of course, I think I proved you can't normally reach these sizes but the game will calculate the value up to a certain point.

I may have covered that somewhere too otherwise I have it all written down in a file somewhere that I could dig up.
